WELCOME

I’m lochlady2 and I’m on a journey to design minecraft mobs as humans! I have many ideas, but I’m not very good at art, so I will be using UnknownSpy’s public set of bases. This is to encourage me to try many different body types, also to have a big goal. I will be posting to give y’all updates and ask for opinions. I will use basic shading and colors and provide a full and 50% opacity option for seeing colors/lines/poses better. Feel free to draw art of my designs as long as credit is due to me! A Contest To Discover Tumblr's Favorite John

There are too many characters named John, so I am taking it upon myself to make them fight to the death. There can only be one.

Inspired mainly by @mimosa-sexypeople-contests-2026 but also all the other people doing character brackets.

Parameters:

Any variation of John is acceptable for this contest (Jon, Johnny, etc). If their middle or last name or whatever is a John variation they're on thin ice but you can plead your case in the propaganda and I'll consider them.

John can be any age, gender, species, whatever

Real life people named John are not allowed. There are simply too many of them and it would never end.

The Unexpected Drama of the Pea Business

This is my first bit of free time where I’ve not been preparing for school things, doing chores, doing projects, collapsed on the ground with a headache and a pool of sweat, or doing peas. This is about peas!

So, I live with my family still. In our back field right behind our house we have a pea patch. My family doesn’t plant it, but we help with upkeep. The man that plants it is a pseudo uncle who lives down the road 3 miles in the woods in his self built shack he has to avoid the government. He is a CHARACTER. He is the frontman for the epa business: handling who’s coming, letting people know their ready, chasing down for money, and tractor work. The only stuff he doesn’t really do is picking though he shells sometimes (we got a nifty machine but only him and I can Werk It).

On Wednesday I came back from a meeting I had to see a man in our drive. He was headed to knock on the door and I was like “ok go talk to dad”. I get out of my car and he’s THERE. I’m not a baby, but I’m sorta young. I’ve been told I look even younger as well. So to him he’s just seen what looks to be a 16 yr old girl pull up and decides to talk to HER about this. He asks if we’re the house for peas. I say yes. He tells me he would like a bushel of peas. I say he should call my pseudo uncle and repeatedly try to give him the number. This guy is not having it. He keeps saying no he’s good because he knows the WOMAN in charge. There’s no woman in charge. The woman he’s talking about picks peas for my uncle for money so he can sell them shelled for more. I feel like I can’t say no at this point so I’m like “ahhahhhh you can have a bushel but I can’t give it to you today. I pick in the mornings” He says he can’t get them in the morning so I say I’ll have them waiting for him in the evening. He finally left.

The next morning I went out to pick this man his bushel and I saw my uncle. I told him about what happened and that that dude freaked me. He got very upset because woke of his three rules for the pea business is that “People don’t harass the people in tha house”. It was also an issue because the peas weren’t really bearing that day as they had been cleaned out on Wednesday. I was worried that I couldn’t get the man his bushel. I told my uncle all I knew about the dude was the he shared property with someone we met a couple times on a nearby road. My uncle then somehow found the man’s number and told him off! My uncle finished his one bucket and left to shell them. It took me about an hour (I had to walk darn near EVERY row) but I got a bucket (1/2 a bushel). I went to bring the bucket to the porch with the machine and my uncle tu enes to me and asked “who are those for?” I said “there for that man that showed up”. My uncle then says “What?! I told him off for harassing ya! You did tell me you’d sold him peas!”. I told him that I couldn’t very well say no. He then said “Gawd DAMMIT boy we gotta be a united frunt against this now! Now I got him showing up tomorrow for some dahm peas”

I still think it’s kind of him to protect me like that. We did get in a 30 minute argument about the difference between and shelf and a cabinet before he built a shelf with me, so it’s nice to know he’s got my back. Even if he’s wrong that a bookshelf is a type of cabinet because I don’t j ow WHAT kind of screwed up carpentry mind he’s got in there but I shelf is not just hung and a cabinet is not just any rectangular piece of furniture for storage.

Creation Date for SPG bots?

I was doing a once over of my The Jon chapter for a fic I have, and I realized something. I never actually put in any….. years. And this is an issue! I know Rabbit was created 1896 and The Spine shortly thereafter and Hatchworth after him. They had to be created for Delilah before she died you see. They also had to be created before 1897 because they were in the Weekend War. Now here is issue. When were The Jon and Upgrade created???? Because we know The Jon went to WW1 and he does give 1910s vibes in not just personality but also appearance. Upgrade gives 1940s but that’s more of a character signaling (1940s riveter attitude) than a creation signaling. The main issue I have with The Jon and Upgrade being made so far after the bots is that they don’t give off youngest sibling vibes. Zer0 does. Ok wait but that can be attributed to his late “join” at life in 200&. AUGH I don’t KNOW JUST GIVE ME YOUR IDEAS!!!!

Timeline (so far?)

Early 1896- Rabbit created

Early 1896- The Spine created (rabbit older than spine)

Mid 1896- Hatchworth created (bigger gap between him and spine than spine and rabbit because those are the VIBES)

Late 1896- Delilah dies

Mid 1897- Zer0 created

Late 1897- Weekend War

1913- The Jon is DEFINITELY made by now

1917- At least 4 (def no zer0 maybe no Upgrade) bots go to WW1

1938- Hatchworth is sealed (via wiki)

1941- US enters WW2 and Upgrade definitely made by now (serves as nurse)

2008- Zer0 reappears (via wiki)
