Astarion failing to get the upperhand is delicious to me. He's SO much more defensive/scared because things haven't gone the way he wanted. Depending on when you find him, he's also outnumbered. He's got nothing but a knife to defend himself with.

Then you've got the trauma aspect. He's just escaped two hundred years of captivity, and is sure that Tav/Durge is in league with those who took him. If this goes wrong, he could end up a slave once more. It's a huge risk to take, especially after just getting his freedom back.

You need to be putting on more mass, and that includes fat and all the other things. If you're exceptionally healthy you could also put on substantial muscle in that time, which also weighs more.
