hey i had to drop like all of my remaining money to get a fan quiet enough to stream because thats my only source of income and its getting to be in the 100s again, only to find out that my room does NOT in fact cool down with the house's AC and regularly sits at about 94F at an average, not including the hot part of the day. this isn't even considering the fact that the room i record in is an additional 5-10 degrees hotter.

given the fact that i need to be able to eat + now need to get a window AC unit, i need to do another proper donation post im sorry. if anyone has anything to spare for a disabled trans woman, the units im looking at are around $150, and anything past that can go towards food & hopefully then i can be awake more than a few hours a day again, otherwise im kinda just screwed for the summer. either way, ty for your time and here's a picture of smeemo

Well maybe I don’t WANT to work double as hard as abled people!! Maybe I deserve a BREAK!! Maybe I’ve been working MORE THAN double as hard for MY WHOLE LIFE and it’s led me to immense burnout & caused me to develop several MORE disabilities!! Maybe I should be ACCOMMODATED so I don’t have to KILL MY BODY AND BRAIN over trying to do what abled people can do!! Maybe I DON’T have to work double as hard!! Maybe if there’s the option to let me NOT work double as hard, I should have it, because I’m already working double as hard JUST TO SURVIVE!!

Why do you think disabled people deserve less rest than mentally & physically abled people?

I've seen it said that this is true but it doesn't include trans women, and... like, how exactly? our inability to give birth is one of the main arguments as to why we don't deserve protections from misogyny. despite the fact that we face incredible amounts of misogyny

if someone is oppressed by misogyny, they deserve protections from it

I could bring up gender or sex and go "trans women are women, therefore we deserve protections from misogyny," but the thing is: we are women, but what's actually pertinent to this subject is that we are vulnerable to and oppressed by misogyny. no arguments about who's "really" a woman even need to enter the picture

the vulnerable and the oppressed should be protected

if someone is oppressed by misogyny, they deserve protections from it

Today I wanted to talk about Marlow Trottie. Marlow was a 35 year old Black woman living in Louisiana, whose friends and family described as always having "a smile on her face" and as being "literally the sweetest person I’ve ever met!”, according to Them news' Quispe López.

Marlow Trottie was killed on June 8th 2026. She was found dead, alone, in the streets of Alexandria, Louisiana. It was a homicide.

Marlow Trottie was a woman. Her family has contested this, and publicly misgendered her, and many news sites have already deadnamed and misgendered her as well. I fear what her obituary will say. I fear what her gravestone will say even more.

She joins a growing list of other trans women who have been killed simply for existing. Again from Them news, that list now numbers 11 women from the past 3 months alone.
