Hi thank you so much! If you are just starting out, I would recommend using the backstitch to create simple designs. 

✂️So, let’s begin~

1. Starting from the back of the work, bring the fabric through point (a) and pass the needle back through point (b).

2. Pull the thread al the way through and then bring the needle through point ©. Then this is the point where it’s called back-stitch, you then bring the needle back through point (b).

3. You now have two stitches. Continue this stitch over your design.

4.Don’t think back-stitch has to be a straight line, you can make any type of line you like. The shorter the stitches you use, the smoother the curve. 

What should you embroider?

Start simple if you don’t have much experience. Try doing some simple line drawings like a flower or alien face or an apple, etc. As you get more experience, you can start using more advance stitches and more complex designs.

Hope this helped you get started. I plan on making a few more stitch tutorials in the future so stay tuned. Also, I hope to make a few designs that people can use?? Let me know if you wanna see more…

Big Y is everywhere. Those who shop there equate the little plastic grocery bags with Prada purses, and you know why. Your Local Family Market preys upon those who yearn to support New England businesses, but you are wise. You drive the extra mile to Wal-Mart to save two dollars.

You were told that this state was religiously accepting of different sexual orientations, but a horde of middle school boys end an argument with the ultimate insult: “Bro, that’s gay!” You do not intervene. They are dressed in tank tops and gym shorts. The winter will kill them before they can change their ways.

Don’t worry, guys. Carl is clearly a brachiosaurus, which lived during the Jurassic period. (And before anyone says our lil’ boy Steve is a velociraptor and therefore puts our comic in the late cretaceous, aka the time of the comet–that lil guy could easily be a compsognathus or a caudipteryx, both Jurassic-era species of small theropod dinosaurs. So the light getting bigger every night is going to pass by harmlessly, and Steve and Carl can go on enjoying the stars together until they die of old age, since Carl has very few natural predators at his size and I bet he’ll protect Steve, if he needs it (though small, fast and carnivorous as Steve is, he probably won’t). 

So it’s all good!!

the pros of reading ao3 fics in public is that their layout is so clean and simple that people would think you’re reading some academic researches when you’re in fact reading a 50k fic. the cons is that you need to control your face all the fucking time
