Call me basic but I'm a big fan of Violette (violet x colette) been shipping them since 2020-2021 😭 I really like their dynamic a lot, them starting out on a not so good terms and eventually grew to be friends is what sealed the deal for me and besides, I'm a huge sucker for golden retriever x black cat shipping troupes. Gotta stay loyal to my first ship 💔
Another ship that I particularly like is Paulina x Antonio (character from the chocolate sabotage book). Read the book so many times because it was the only physical book that I have at the time 💔and I grew fond it. They give off childhood sweetheart vibes and I Lowkey wished that the book showed them more but 💔 I take what I can get. (Ignores the I love you book series)

It's really hard for me to answer this because I unfortunately only have limited access to the books (until as of recent since e books / internet archive exist SDKSKDKSKSK) so I can't really think of an iconic scene that comes in mind.
However I did thought of Colette being the one who had her dream taken away from the crystal eagle instead of violet (cloud castle) but I don't think it'll be as appealing and impactful like how violet did.

Star Fairies and The Chocolate Hills.
Listen to me, these two books in particular got me back at the fandom. Star fairies has so much wasted potential because it felt genuinely so nothingburger it pissed me off. Not the level of crystal fairies kind of bad (from what I've seen and heard from the grapevines of this fandom) but still bad enough that you wish you'd be the one to write it and do it justice. Funnily enough I do am actually planning on rewriting star fairies
I'm still currently writing a review for the star fairies. I don't think I'll make it super detailed and long but straightforward enough to get my point cross as too why this book also deserves a rewrite.
As for chocolate hills. The book made me so happy because as a Filipino who's native from visayas, this felt like a huge win for me. Then the book said it takes place in catanduanes, which uhm. Hell no. Smh smh Luzon glazers /j (guys please this is a joke DKAKDKSKDKS)
I'm not from Bohol but god I wish the book emphasized and focus more on Filipino customs. I will say that the conflict in the book is at least rather realistic because there is a lot of lands and places here that has been demolished due to capitalism greed so it's not too exactly far off but 💔💔yeagh I felt like they could've done more. Everything felt to predictable and a little boring.
