Hello I was just recently watching avatar the last Airbender and it got me thinking thinking, what if there was an avatar in Genshin impact, I thought it might make sense because all of the elements in Genshin impact are ones that benders from avatar are capable of using. So I was thinking what if the avatar was the reader and she was born in Fontaine and when she was born it put Fontaine into a bit of an excited uproar because it had been a long time since the previous avatar passed away, and I was wondering, how would the avatar play into the Fontaine archon quest, would she be able to ask the past avatar's for guidance, and how would her upbringing from childhood be? Would she be kept under protection as she learned to control the elements or would she be granted a normal childhood and begin training when she becomes a teenager. I'm thinking about writing a story about it and I have some fanmade Avatar's you could use, their under the post, The New Avatar basic information, but if you're not comfortable with writing this that's completely alright and I wish you the best ☺️.
I’ll be so honest, I love avatar so much and I haven’t gotten to Fontaine yet because I’m lazy as hell 🥰
LMAO
I’ve also seen you used she/her so that’s what I’ll use!!!
but if we’re being like 100% honest these are my headcannons:
I think because the Avatar has been dead for a while, the new one that has just come is a bit an anomaly to the public.
I think that she’s a bit of a concern and everyone would be in utter confusion.
I definitely think they’d be excited that the avatar is from Fontaine and with such strong beliefs in Justice and the Legal System, they’d believe the Avatar should be the upmost ‘Just Symbol’ not only representing Fontaine but as a standard of how other Nations should be as well
But let’s not get political, let’s go more into the childhood of the avatar
I think it’s normal for the avatar to get their powers later in life, so maybe toddler/young child, like Korra! (I love korra so much)
So this would mean for a few years in her life, the avatar would be a normal person until she starts controlling a random element without a specific vision.
If nobody had visions and it was purely elemental powers, I also think it would be strange that the young child could master so many things at a young age
I’m guessing her parent/s are concerned and take her to doctors, etc!
This can lead to spread panic and anxiety through the people of Fontaine, causing for Neuvilette and Focalor to be asked to come to meet the child.
I also think the leaders of the different nations would want to meet the child as well
I’m not so sure about the snezhnayans seeing as they hate everyone, but perhaps the Tsaritsa needs the avatars powers over the gnosis’ which could lead to a potential villain in the heroines plot!
I also think she wouldn’t have much of a childhood after she is confirmed the avatar.
Because they haven’t had one in years, she would be expected to train from maybe her preteens (12-18+) and live her entire life with no real connections and only to be raised as a weapon
But I think she’d probably have friends from different nations, and I’d like to think that depending on her personality, she’d always have some sort of friend group to match!
So if she’s shy, she might hang around Childe and Xinyan (honestly so happy they met those few updates ago they’re so silly (I’m a xinyan main)) or someone who perfectly brings her out of her shell
If the avatar is more outgoing and strong, maybe like Korra, I imagine someone calm like Chongyun or depending how old the avatar is, I’m going to say young adult, I’d recon Alhaitham and Kaveh are the BEST
IMAGINE AN AVATAR TRIO WITH KAVEH AND ALHAITHAM it would be so silly, Alhaitham trying to make sure your powers are controlled and making sure you and Kaveh don’t burn down the entirety of Sumeru on a visit there? Honestly such a good fic
Honestly it would be like a “gotta catch ‘em all” situation with the avatar! Gotta make the most friends >.<
I also think that some more serious things like mental health could be really really exhausting for the avatar and that she’d always be on edge, people trying to hunt her down, perhaps steal her powers or even kill her, etc. it wouldn’t be the best time of her life that’s for sure, and if they hadn’t had an avatar in so long, EVERYONE who hates the avatar would want her as a target.
But other than that, I think the avatar would either hate Fontaine and want to explore, or is fearful she’ll accidentally disobey the Fontaine court and get herself imprisoned. I also bet they have a super secure prison JUST for the avatar incase she goes ballistic.
I would argue that how there are subbending techniques in the show, I believe that the avatar can and does mix the elements together, making specific healing ailments, bending the earth with super hot or super wet terrain; enhancing the geo power in some way. Honestly it’s all so interesting
I also believe that the avatar state would be so fun to explore and make up as you go along, and maybe the avatar runs away from Fontaine and does something stupid? Who knows! It’s all so fun to think about!!
THIS WAS LOVELY WRITING! It really got me thinking!! TYSM FOR THE REQUEST! 🫶
Hello. I was wondering if you could make a platonic Honkai Star Rail story with the reader being Jing Yuan's child and but they ended up running away to stay with their mother because they keep messing things up especially after Jing Yuan and the readers mother got divorced. it takes awhile but a few months later the reader suddenly returned to the Loufu because of some disaster where the reader had been living with their mother and Jing Yuan also wanted to talk the reader so he would finally be able to apologize to them especially after he accidentally saw the diary they kept on their computer. (I was kind of inspired by the first episode of The Owl House season three Thank To Them for this request but If you're not not comfortable with writing this that's completely alright and I wish you a good morning/afternoon or goodnight☺️)
I nearly cried bro I accidentally deleted everything I’m gonna sob but I rewrote it!!
IM SO SORRY IVE LITERALLY BEEN DEAD I SWEAR THE SECOND I WROTE FANFICS I GOT YHE MOST DEADLY COUGH OF MY LIFE I WAS SICK FOR THREE MONTHS STRAIGHT 😭😭😭 I HAD WHOOPING COUGH ISTG
My exams started a little while ago too and I had a request before this, I HOPE THIS IS GOOD ENOUGH AND IM SORRY ITS SO LATE OMG I DIDNT MEAN TO DROP OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH!!!
TW: mention of bad coping mechanisms - no outright mention of sh, yanqing and reader share a sibling bond, jing yuan is kinda ooc in my opinion… I genuinely think there’s a paragraph missing somewhere and a bunch of spelling mistakes so please bare with me 🙏🙏🙏 Yanqing referred to as brother multiple times near the end!!!
It all started after the divorce. Your grades plummeted and your training sessions with your father became scarce. Your footing during combat was mediocre at best and you found yourself closing off from friends and even your own father.
He was worried about you from the beginning, never wanting you to be at the centre of the messy divorce especially during one of the most stressful weeks at the Luofu no doubt. The IPC had arrived on short notice and demanded immediate attention, leaving your father to worry about not only them but how you felt and your mental state too.
How he showed his care however… It was not the best. He would make sure others spent time with you in his place, whenever you wanted to see him, you would be notified by a guard or one of his subordinates who would be tasked to hang out with you that he was unavailable and you wouldn’t see him until later.
This did not make you feel better, instead you got into contact with your mother again, her reaching out and asking to spend time with you. You didn’t know how to feel and had mixed emotions but ultimately coming to the conclusion to give her a chance and slowly working up to a happier relationship with her again. Not only were you disappointed at your father but also your mother.
She told you all about her new home and how it resembled the Luofu so much, how she would be delighted for you to join her one day. You liked that idea a lot! Especially since you had a feeling that your father’s subordinates didn’t want to babysit you anymore.
You worked on yourself and started training again, this time not with your father. The IPC had left weeks ago and promised to come back to settle matters with your father once and for all. You didn’t care about that though, you still hadn’t seen your father in a week up until the point of training.
“That’s right, Y/N!” Yanqing praised. He had become one of your closest companions and you both had a sibling-like bond: he knew you better than anyone else and you vice versa. He had become your pillar and knew all your secrets, even about the unhealthy coping you had developed and how to better maintain your emotions and habits during the tough days.
Jing Yuan knew of you two’s training sessions and had guards keep him posted on your location at all times. He didn’t want to admit it, but he kept himself away from you at the fear of being neglectful and disappointing you again. He remembers the last time you both were in the same room, you had begged to play chess with him. He had pushed you away, saying;
“I’m busy, Y/N. Please go find someone else.”
He in fact wasn’t that busy, he just couldn’t bare to see you and thought you were disappointed in him. He replayed that scenario in his head multiple times the entire week he’s gone without seeing you and at the back of his mind is the broken relationship with your mother. He cannot bring himself to forgive what he had done to your mother to make her leave, and he was worried you would eventually leave him as well. In desperate attempt, he would send you trinkets and clothing to try repair the missing attention he couldn’t give you, but you stopped taking them after a while. His heart couldn’t bare to see you upset at him, so he buried himself in his paper work. Surprising all those around him, especially Fu Xuan. She was extremely impressed and scared. She had no clue when he became so serious about his work and almost drowning himself in it.
Fu Xuan knew it had to do with you. She was one of your mothers closest friends and knew that you went through one of the toughest situations of all, your parents both fighting for custody and ultimately putting you in the middle of their arguments. She also had to hang out with you in place of Jing Yuan sometimes, knowing exactly how you felt and being able to read you like an open book. She couldn’t help but feel angry at your father, cursing him and his stupidity. For a General, he sure was an idiot for denying you the love and attention you deserved, instead making others give it to you when you instead needed your father.
You fucked up. Earlier this morning in a final attempt to reconnect with your father, you walked in on a meeting of his. You had no clue he had visitors and you went everywhere in the house trying to look for him. He never let you get involved in meetings - stating you were too young and shouldn’t worry about such trivial matters. You tried to respect his wishes every time, knowing he was a well respected figure and you didn’t want to mess that up for him.
“So, this morning I received word from-“ the voice of your father stopped as you opened the door to his private study. His closest subordinates sitting around a table, waiting for him to finish his sentence. Everyone turned to look at you and you felt your face get hot, your knees wobble and tears prick your eyes. You screwed the fuck up.
“I’m sorry! I was just-“ you couldn’t finish off the sentence, you felt your throat closing up in panic. You made eye contact with everyone, noticing pity and sympathy in their eyes. You hated it so much… But what caught you the most off guard was the hard expression on your fathers face. His eyes calculating and holding an emotion you couldn’t decipher. You wanted to explode on the spot.
Quickly and almost aggressively, you slammed the door behind you, shaking the hinges and wanting the ground to swallow you whole more than ever.
The look in your fathers eyes. Was he disappointed with you? Did he have enough? Did he not love you anymore? Were you being too pushy about hanging out with him? Why was he looking at you so coldly? You wanted to cry and sob and forget about everything. Go back to the days before the divorce. You wanted everything to be the way it was. Going out with your mother and father, being showered with love and affection, being given small trinkets that your father said reminded him of both you and your mother.
You felt yourself spiralling again. You needed to go see Yanqing and quick.
“Oh Y/N…” Yanqing nearly pleaded with you. He knew that look on your face, your swollen eyes and your weak frown, he was immediately sympathetic and knew something bad happened between you and Jing Yuan.
Yanqing himself considered Jing Yuan his father in a sense too and you his sibling, so he knew you well enough to grasp you and Jing Yuan’s connection. He also loved your mother as his own and the divorce hit him pretty harsh as well. But he understood they fought about you the most, and how helpless you felt. He never held that against you and tried his best to make sure you were safe and as happy as could be, but right now? What the hell happened?
“What happened? Do you want to talk about it?” He held you in his arms as you felt your tears never ending.
“I think father’s upset with me…” you couldn’t help inhale air with small hiccups and double takes, staining Yanqing’s shirt with your salty tears. You wanted to pry away and apologise but you felt too weak and mentally exhausted. You felt stupid and not worth it, not worth your father.
“I’m sure it was all a misunderstanding, Y/N! He loves you, of course he does!” Yanqing offered, he help you tighter and you felt all your emotions explode again, crying harder than before.
“You should have seen the look on his face- he stared and stared with that cold look!” you wrapped your arms around Yanqing’s back and clung onto him hopelessly.
“I- N/N…” he started, only for you to cut him off.
“Y’know… I’ve been thinking about moving with mother…” you sniffled, having calmed down much more than before. You felt Yanqing freeze around you.
“W-what do you mean?” He uttered in disbelief.
You dropped your arms slowly and looked up at the young boy, wiping your tears and holding his hand in your own.
“Let’s face it. Things haven’t been the same since the divorce. Father’s been avoiding me like the plague, sending everyone but him to come hang out with me. For Aeon’s sake, he didn’t even come to the park like we always used to on the First Full Moon of the month…” you whispered, emotion turning your voice hoarse and painful, as if thorns were tightening at your throat.
“But- but it could get better! I’m sure if I spoke to him, he’d understand!” Yanqing stared at you with determination in his eyes, his hope shining bright.
“I don’t think it will. Not after today. I promise to come visit you, I swear it! I just- I don’t want to embarrass myself more in front of father than I already have. I don’t think he deserves that.” you state gently.
For the first time in a few weeks, you felt excited. Not that hanging out with Yanqing and sending letters to your mother wasn’t fun, but you genuinely wanted some where new to explore, a different atmosphere away from the burden of trying to please a father who couldn’t even bother look you in the eyes. You needed a change of pace.
“I promise I’ll write you to everyday!” You beam at him. The boy looks at you with uncertainty in his gaze and sadness. After losing your mother, he didn’t want to lose you too. But he knew it would make you happier than ever. And plus, he loves reading your spelling mistakes. It’s a win-win in his book.
You had left nearly 3 months ago, keeping your promise and sending voice recordings to your brother and small videos here and there, as well as handwritten envelopes with flowers from the beautiful planet your mother came to. She had told you it’s history and how they had been rebuilding themselves as an Oasis in the making. Her mother, your grandmother came from this beautiful planet and you couldn’t help but notice how similar you looked to the natives here. You felt at home, much more than you ever did on the Luofu.
You hadn’t told you father about your departure, having opted to pack you bags immediately and call your mother, asking for a quick and easy way to travel to her home world. She accepted immediately and welcomed you with open arms.
You eventually told her why you left and she couldn’t help but roll her eyes. “That man wouldn’t know discipline and responsibility if it hit him with the entire Luofu itself! How he’s made it all these years is beyond me. I’m sorry you experienced that my love. I’m glad you’re with me now.” She would scoff at your father’s actions and always pat your head, getting ready to go to work or take you out during her days off. She would also help you record videos for Yanqing and would mention how she missed her son dearly, always calling him hers and asking if he’s been eating well, showing in her own way she cares.
You didn’t want to know about your father and Yanqing never told you, waiting only to tell you when you asked. Which never came.
Eventually, you had made friends with the locals, learned your native tongue and made sure that everyone was happy, having been placed to understudy your mother and work alongside her in the Guild to provide for the elders of the City. You also volunteered to as many soup kitchens as possible and helped with poverty wherever you could. Your mothers home was beautiful but the economy was rather poor, leading to the fittest to provide for the elders and young children.
You returned home one day after a successful evening at the kitchen only to have received three distress signals from Yanqing and one from your father. You felt sick to your stomach and as if you were about to faint.
Quickly you opened your signals and heard voice messages come through.
“Y/N! Please! You need to come back to the Luofu right now! It’s Jing Yuan! He’s- he’s been in critical condition since this evening!”
“Please! Fu Xuan is panicking and it’s throwing me off… I- I don’t know what to do! Please…”
“He’s finally okay! He’s in a stable condition… it’s been hours! Please tell me you’re okay, Y/N! He’s been asking for you… Please return to the Luofu…”
You didn’t dare open your father’s one. It was staring at you as if cornering you . Ready to eat you alive.
“Y/N. You should return.” Your mother said beside your doorframe. She had heard everything and wanted to make sure you were okay.
“I- but…?” You started, only to be met with your mother’s questioning gaze. You knew you should go visit your brother and father, Yanqing was worried and your father could have died. You had to see him.
“Okay…” you couldn’t help but worry.
The air was different on the Luofu than your mother’s planet. It was crisp, almost as if there was electricity in the air, waiting to strike at any moment.
As you made your way down the streets to your home, you felt a familiar presence and turned around to see Yanqing running at you full speed, nearly knocking you down ass first onto the pavement.
“Y/NNN!!!!!” He nearly sobbed. It was endearing and a little too tight of a hug, but you reciprocated.
“Hey there, Yanqing! I’ve missed you.” You felt your eyes tear up. You had truly missed your brother and wanted him to be safe.
“I’ve missed you too. I really hope you’re happy. But..! Please- Jing Yuan- he’s been so tired and I’ve never seen him this restless. You have to go see him.” The boy stopped hugging you to stare at you with complete sadness.
You felt as if your body was in fight or flight, wanting to drop kick your brother and run for the hills of your mothers home planet. But that would be uncivilised and you’d feel bad later.
“Okay…” you agreed with apprehension.
You had entered your father’s house. Everything was the same way it was when you left. The same colours, same tapestries, even the same stupid old vase you hated and wanted to break on multiple occasions at the ugliness of it. You truly didn’t miss this place one bit but at the same time missed all the memories and the unfulfilled promises.
As you walked the final step of stairs and walked to the end of the hall, you were met with the door of your father’s bedroom. He had shared it once with your mother and you nearly sobbed at the sight of it. Last time you had been in his room was when you had a nightmare and wanted your mother, having snuck into the bed to be with her.
You quickly pulled off the bandaid. Knocking softly three times and rethinking doing it again having garnered no reply.
Just as you brought your hand up to knock again, a hoarse voice spoke out. “Come in.”
You felt your stomach do summersaults and wanted to evaporate into thin air. But you had to pull the bandaid off completely, no?
You opened the door gently and closed it behind you, walking to your father’s bed and having made eye contact with him half way through your walk. His eyes were glassy and he was in his bed with bandages all over his chest, arms and even one on his neck. You nearly broke into tears.
“Y/N…” he uttered softly. His gaze piercing yet soft. He missed you dearly and wanted to reach out desperately to apologise for how he treated you. But you weren’t here to hear his excuses.
“Father…” you couldn’t hold it back and the tears started flowing again. Jing Yuan slowly rose up and took your hand to his chest, pulling your entire body towards him and laying you on his bed, kissing your forehead and holding you tight. You wrapped your arms around him and kept apologising, remembering how you had left without a word and wanting it all to have been a bad dream.
“You’re my child, Y/N. And I should have treated you better. I did not mean to chase you away or make you feel incompetent. I adore you and you are one of the only good things in my life. My life’s purpose.” He whispered into your hair.
“I- I should have been there when you were upset. I am sorry for neglecting you. I wish I had spoken to you more and kept the relationship.” He held you tighter, as if afraid you would disappear any minute.
“I’ve read your diary, Y/N.” You freeze. Oh shit. He started to pet your head and you feel tears blind your vision.
“Father- you weren’t..!” You can’t finish due to the hiccups taking over your body. He only pushes you away to look into your eyes carefully.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t there. I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you. You were never the reason me and your mother didn’t work out. You will forever be my top priority, and I am so sorry you felt otherwise. You are my child- my one true love. I will never stop fighting for you, nor your brother. Please, give me one last chance to prove to you my dear child.” His eyes were glassy and he had extreme eye bags, a curtesy of his non-existent sleep schedule.
You didn’t know how to reply. Of course he still loved you, even after the lack of communication on his behalf and your insecurities leading up to the emotional turmoil in your relationship.
“You’re my father. Of course I’ll always give you a second chance..” you whisper against him again.
You had a feeling that everything was going to be okay again.
A princess like Aelin Galathynius from throne of glass. She’s a badass who used to be an assassin once and who wields fire power.
HIII I am so sorry this is so late I’ve been sick for 3 months and I literally lost all sense of reality for a while. BUT I wasn’t sure if you wanted me to keep the fire powers or not so I kept it as friendly as I could for any type of power! I hope that I wrote the reader well because if I’m being completely serious I had to search up Aelin Galathynius and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! i was actually considering getting the novels so you’re literally a life saver! ANYWAYS I HOPE I MADE THIS WORTHWHILE AND THANK YOU FOR THE REQUEST LOVELY!!
Blade x Princess! Reader
TW: Romantic (but can be read as platonic - just skip or ignore the dream part), kind of emotionally constipated reader..? War, blood, probably something incorrect in there lmao…
Sword fighting came to you easily. Your powerful strikes are full of precision and poise, your stance is always perfect and agile as well as your sharp mind. Your reaction time in battle was excellent and you were extremely proud of yourself.
You had to learn your cutthroat style from a young age, it’s a kill or be killed world and the only way to protect yourself was to become the predator, the top of the food chain. You also need extremely tentative wording and persuasive language to get information, as well as a keen eye for what is beneath the surface of every turmoil or hidden threat in one’s words.
This is your last mission. With a certain childhood friend at your back supporting you all throughout your younger and teen years, you know very well this could be the last you see of him.
But he wasn’t an idiot, you both understood that much.
As you both crouched and huddled under the cover of a bush - your bag of magical artifacts attached to your right thigh - you couldn’t help but realise how easy this was. It was extremely suspicious and you had to ask your companion for advice.
“You know what I’m going to say to you.” you whispered.
He chuckled, his rich laugh contrasting with his disheveled and dirty clothing. As much as the throne was your birthright, he also deserved luxuries you both could only dream of outside of a world of stealing. His hair was tied up in a high ponytail and your family’s medallion was attached as a brooch on his right chest strap. His trousers hung low and were stained with mud, his boots carrying a dagger in them. He turned to face you, golden eyes stalking your figure, you didn’t want to meet his yet.
“I think we should use our distraction.” his voice hoarse and unused. You both ran out of water preparing magical components at the base of the city and nearly two days staking out the perfect time to strike. The Rebels were planted in the lower and abandoned parts, ready for the signal.
You’ve been through worse however, this was child’s play compared to the gruesome training you forced upon yourself.
“Mm. Any last words, Blade?” you turned to look into his piercing eyes. They held broken shards of who he used to be, the child with big dreams and the broken promises he was gifted instead.
He grabbed your hand, gently raising the back of your gloved hand to his lips, kissing it. He slowly slid the black scarf over his nose again and squeezed your hand softly once. He would be at your side until the end.
You couldn’t help smile to yourself. Blade was your best friend, always at your beck and call, he knew you were never going to give up on him and he in turn never gave up on you.
Sometimes there’s a dream that almost haunts you at the peacefulness and domesticity it promises. It’s you with Blade in a beautiful bedroom, the light shining in and the wind blowing softly through the soft, pearl-coloured balcony curtains. The room covered in soft greens and faint reds that remind you of beautiful flowers. The silk bedsheet feeling blissful on your back as you stare up at Blade sleeping, his nose scarred and you always end the dream by running your fingers gently over it and kissing his nose, never getting past that scene.
It haunted you and you hated it, but fuck would you do anything for that moment to be reality. As much as you didn’t have time for romance in a fight for the throne, you could only crave it like how a force as powerful and chaotic as fire depends on something vital as oxygen to keep it alive, stronger than ever.
Of course you’d never tell him that though, it’s better for things to be left unsaid; especially in war. You took off yours and his masks, cupping his face gently. You’d never tell him how you felt, but actions always speak louder than words. You stared at him and pressed your lips against his cheek, inches away from his lips. You place his mask back on gently and he does the same for you.
“Are you ready?”
“I’ll follow you to the ends of the world if it means you are happy.”

It was a fucking massacre. Blood on the walls, the curtains torn and glass windows shattered. Swords thrown haphazardly into all directions on the floor and half of the city glowing blue and white due to the “distraction” in the lower parts of the city. Whoever thought it was a good idea for Illegal Blue Flame Charms was on something as it wasn’t in the plan. You were trying to take back your city, not destroy it to fucking cinders. But you digress, you need to find the King.
As you stalk through the sinister hallways your boots make crunching sounds on the glass shards. You didn’t bother making your arrival quiet, you didn’t need to because the King already knew you were here, just like you promised.
“Well. I’ll be damned.” A cough erupted from a corner of darkness. The voice hauntingly familiar even through the strain and coughing fit.
He didn’t deserve to get a reply, after slaughtering your parents and exiling their only daughter lucky enough to escape, the promise you made that day would finally come true. You would get your Kingdom back and murder the one who endangered your people, taxed them to nothingness and celebrated the death of two brilliant parents and rulers.
As you raised your hand, you felt the familiar heat and energy in your palm, your fingertips glowing that lovely colour you’ve grown to adore. The blue of the outside fire and destruction was weak compared to the light emitting from your hand, and you landed the final blow. After years of trauma and terror, running away and the fear of being caught… you’ve never felt safer.
___________________________
The citizens - your people - adored you. Obviously, anyone would be better than the Dictator who was their last leader but you were their true heir, the one best fit to take control over the Kingdom again.
The first thing you did after you killed the King was find Blade. He was a skilled swordsman but even he wasn’t untouchable. He was injured and on the brink of passing out when you found him. He knew you had won and immediately fell on his knees to congratulate and bow down to you, a smirk on his face and blood trickling down the left side of his head, making him close his eye to stop it trickling into it. There was a cut on his nose now, that’ll scar for sure.
You had appointed him as your Head Guard and crowned him the highest honours you could bestow upon a man. He might as well have been a King himself.
Standing in your old bedroom, you made your way to the balcony watching over the city. The sun was setting and everything was gorgeous hues of golds and pinks.
The rebuilding of the city was going smoothly and no civilians were critically injured due to the Blue Flame Charms set around the different parts of the city, only the abandoned buildings were gone and could be easily replaced with new homes, markets and trading ports. Taxes that were stupid had been reset and everyone could finally breathe without having to rely on Loan Sharks or crime to live and support their families. Those who had lost their jobs and homes had been invited to the Castle and given jobs to help repair, as well as given food and water for their families. The old were taken to spare rooms and wherever someone could take them in. The Kingdom was working together better than ever before and it was all thanks to you and the rebels.
“What are you thinking about?” The voice of your Head Guard questioned. You turned around and smiled at him. You had changed your clothes and so did he, he was gorgeous with new clothing, better hygiene, nicely combed hair, beautiful brooches on his straps and delicate embroidered roses on his coat. His outfit was composed of blacks, dark greens and the blood reds from his roses.
“You.” He looked unimpressed.
“Sure.” He came to stand beside you on the balcony of your childhood bedroom, staring ahead as you continue to eye him.
“You know I wouldn’t have known what to do if I had lost you.” you whisper, the words holding a deeper meaning. His head turned in your direction, still not making eye contact with you. The sunset was illuminating his face and every scar, blemish and bandage on his face made him even more godly than before.
“Don’t look at me like that.” he turned to stare at you now, his eyes pleading. You smiled at him and laughed.
“A dear friend once told me, ‘I’ll follow you to the ends of the world if it means you are happy.’ I think he was right.” His laugh was pure and he embraced you.
The tears in your eyes stung and you felt all your panic and anxiety over the years slip, even if the trauma would be there forever you felt safe enough to forget about pain and misery in his arms.
“I am forever with you, Y/N. As your Head Guard, your Consultant and most importantly, your friend.” He kissed the top of your head sweetly and you couldn’t help sob happily as you laid in the safest arms of all.

(Romantic: if you don’t want romance and only platonic I suggest ending it there. Thanks!)
You approached the man sat on the balcony step, circling your arms around his shoulders and pulling him back into your open arms, him coming into contact with your chest and sighing deeply.
“What’s wrong? Don’t like my hugs?” You teased.
“I hate that you don’t take me seriously.” He stated blandly. You look down at him confused. What’s he on about?
“What are you talking about? If I thought you were a joke you wouldn’t be my Head Guard, or in my arms for that matter.” you offered him a teasing smile and squeezed him a little harder.
“What I mean is you don’t take my advances seriously.” he scoffed.
What.
“Advances? What exactly have you done that was in a ‘courting fashion’?” you might as well have been given a blank piece of paper and sent out to go shopping because what fucking advances has he given you?
He turned around to face you and he had an exasperated expression, going through all 5 stages of grief trying to explain himself to you, “Y’know.. I gave you my last dessert. And I held you last week.” you stared at him blankly.
“You gave me your half-eaten pudding and you pushed me off the street into a muddy puddle because a carriage was driving by. The carriage wasn’t even close to the side walk may I add.” he sighed again and stared ahead, acting like a neglected child.
You laughed and soon your entire body couldn’t stop shaking at how hard you were laughing, Blade was still sulking in your arms and that made you stop momentarily.
“You know, those advances may not be, traditional per say… but it’s the thought that counts. And I might add, I’ve also been wanting you to court me too.” you finished with one of your hands cupping his cheek and the other holding onto his arm.
“I had great advances.” he deadpanned.
With the biggest eye roll you could muster, you leaned in gently, allowing him to have a moment to decide whether he wanted to kiss you too or back out. When he didn’t move you got a little confused, opting to back out.
He slowly inclined his head forward and with a excited smile you leaned in the full way, lips pressing against his. At first you did all the movements and set the pace, letting Blade adapt to the kiss.
His hands snaked around your waist and the wrist of the hand that was cupping his face. He soon felt you pull away from the kiss for air and he took the opportunity to kiss your wrist gently. His eyes piercing yours once again.
“My chosen protector, my closest companion and my heart, will you stay with me forever, until death do us part?” you asked, suddenly feeling all emotions you could possibly think of in that small silence overtaking your senses. You felt nervous but excited and you felt yourself trembling all in one.
Hello sorry if this is a bad time but I'm the one that requested that story with Blade and if you're okay with it I'm more than happy to send more requests because this noggin of mine is always popping up new ideas 🙂
OFC ML!!! ANYTHING <3 I need to get my Masterlist in check but I pretty much do everyone from Honkai Star Rail so if you want anything with not only Blade specifically then I’m down! <3
Hello I have a request that's been on my mind for a while. What if Blade had a child that's currently a preteen and they've never met him and when Blade discovered his child was on the Loufu living under the care of adoptive parents after their birth mother passed away, he decided to test their skill in battle and he was not disappointed but he was surprised by his child's fighting style and the fact that they collapsed as soon as the fight was over because this was the first time they were in a fight like that along with them having a somewhat weak constitution. (If you're not comfortable with writing this that's completely understandable and I wish you a good day or night)
I want to sob I wrote like 1k and it was GONE. My dumb ass didn't save it I swear I'm sobbing vigorously
BUT THANK YOU SO MUCHHH I TRIED REALLY HARD AND IT IS AN X READER. You're the first to ever request so you're like my favourite person right now ilysm PFHSJDB
SORRY IT'S SO LATE
Even with all your mentoring sessions and fighting competitions aboard the Luofu, nothing could have ever prepared you for your fight with him.
A tall, muscular man with a dead stare and an unimpressed, almost annoyed facial expression.
As your sword clashed against his, you couldn't help but wonder how you even got in this situation. Weren't you on the way home from shopping for your mother? Well whatever reason you were out for was immediately forgotten as a cluster of swings were thrown in your direction.
You ducked and blocked as many blows as you could, though you felt cold metal pierce your upper arm and you swallowed down a screech of pain.
You felt your shirt get heavier as blood was dripping down your arm slowly. Is this how you'd die? In the hands of a criminal?
The man stood still. Raising his sword and dragging his fingers across it, creating an almost beautiful ombre of yellow and orange across the bloodstained weapon. A sinister sunset.
As he brought it back to his body, the entire atmosphere around him changed. Blood was pounding in your ears, you swear you could have seen his mouth moving? Is he talking to you?
"Savour it for me."
The man jumped in the air, blocking the moonlight and his sword glistened red, everything was red. Why is everything red?
No. This is not the day you die. You needed to get back to your parents. You had to. Using your own sword you steadied yourself and felt the wind raising your sword for you. You felt lightweight and controlled your breathing, doing exactly what your mentor had advised you before battle.
"Raise your sword and let the wind guide you! "
Opening your eyes, you saw the fastly descending man gawk at you. His expression bewildered and his sword shaking slightly.
Before he could slice you open, you felt yourself swing a massive wave of energy towards the man, erasing his attack and sending him backwards. He landed on his feet and you could see blood dripping from his face.
The only bad part about using this skill however, something that your mentor warned you about was that it would be nearly impossible to keep awake after using it if your body is not prepared. You felt your eyes closing, trying to stabilise yourself by piercing the ground underneath you with your sword, you felt yourself crumble and fall into the bittersweet unconsciousness of your mind.
The last thing you saw were black shoes.
You woke up startled, everything was spinning and you felt nauseous. Staring around at your surroundings, you could remember you're in your Mentors house. So many questions and so many noises that made your head hurt.
As you slowly started getting up, your Mentor came in. Extremely annoyed.
"You're finally awake, Child." he sighed.
"Sir! What happened? My head is pounding." you blew out the candle next to your bed and shielded your eyes from the piercing light.
"Ahem." a new voice. You immediately jostled up and almost threw up from the dizziness.
It was the man. His long hair framing his face and his arms bandaged, his piercing eyes caught your own and you nearly shat yourself. What is he doing here?
"Sir! What's he doing here? It's illegal to harbour a fugitive, you of all people should know that..." you felt yourself become weak and sickly again. You couldn't concentrate on your sentences properly.
"Do not question me and my reasons, Child. I should have you clean the walls again for your silly accusation!" that shut you up, alongside the painful migraine that seemingly wouldn't go away.
"My apologies, sir..." you blinked up at the strange man again. You knew his name from the wanted posters across the Luofu- Blade. It suited him.
"This 'Fugitive' saved your life. You should be grateful, Y/N L/N." your mentor proclaimed. Yeah real grateful after he nearly killed you and kicked your ass.
You nodded, not wanting to upset your Mentor and clean the walls again.
The man stood still and was tense. Come to think of it, when your Mentor said your name, his eyes widened and his breathing changed. Something's up.
"Sorry Sir, but do I know you?" you asked Blade, not wanting to upset him by using his name.
"..."
"..."
"No." he turned around and walked away.
You and your Mentor shared a glance of confusion.
As you made your way home, you couldn't shake the feeling that the entire interaction was so odd. Especially after the stories you've heard about Blade. Cutthroat, cruel, dangerous. Despite these factors he saved you, well after trying to murder you first.
You just couldn't shake the feeling that you'd meet again and very soon. And surprisingly, you weren't opposed to that idea.
As you made your way inside, a man appeared from behind a wall with a hurt expression on his face. How could he have not known? He knew that the love of his life died and she would be no more. That made him an emotionless and cruel monster, but how could he have not known about you? You were his child for fucks sake. He sees you from your window, happy and talking to your parents. That could have been him. But a part of him is glad that you didn't grow up with him, he knows the life you would have had wouldn't have been as prosperous and kind as this. He would have cheated you out of a childhood.
He'll keep an eye on you though. Of course he will, you're the last memory of your mother.
"Y/N, huh? " and with that thought, he made his way into the shadows, your laughs echoing into the endless night behind him.
His arms wrapped around you, hugging you tight and his nose nuzzled against the back of your neck. He loved everything about you, but by far, his favourite moments are the ones where you both slept. Your breaths were soft and slow, your limbs are tangled with his intricately, every piece in the right place.
He adored the noises you would mumble whenever his breath blew against your cheek or neck and it tickled you. His soft chuckles would sometimes stir you awake, blinking your sleepy eyes at him made him breathless and kept him in a trance… until you huff annoyedly and shuffle yourself into his embrace further, almost as if the small distance between you both offended your love for him.
These moments let him experience love, something he considers a very pure and innocent obsession. He doesn’t always have the time for love and what others may see as his weakness, so seeing you asleep beside him is the anchor keeping him sane and keeping his feet glued to the ground.
You’re the reason he wakes up every morning experiencing love for the first time again and again. You are the Sun to his Moon, the other half of his soul. You are his and he is yours.
“Goodnight, my love.”

Hiyaa these are quick notes I think that different Honkai Star Rail characters would do or behave like ALSO IF YOU THINK IT'S OOC THAT'S FINE SHSKAHF I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS SO MUCH ANYTHING THEY DO IS REAL TO ME ❤️
IF THERE ARE SPELLING MISTAKES HELP SORRY
Characters: Blade, Dan Heng, Gepard, March, Serval, Kafka
Blade:
-He holds your hand when you cross the road (it seems like something he would do just absentmindedly, if you bring it up he won't do it again).
-He likes to take you places you've never been to, as chaotic as his person is, I think he really likes the more calmer days and enjoys finding new places with you, albeit he's also looking to run away from the authorities at the same time...
-I am a firm believer that Blade watches all types of movies, even romcoms. You enter the living room and see him watching '10 things I hate about you' and he's genuinely into it thinking about how he relates to a character.
-He has matching phone accessories with you. Kafka makes fun of him whenever he comes to work with a bright coloured pompom hanging out of his pocket.
-He is quite chill when you bring him little trinkets, he might not know what you're supposed to be doing with such an oddly shaped item, he might even stare at you blankly, but he knows the object reminded you of him and that makes him happier than he'd like to admit.
Dan Heng:
-He likes to smell you (THAT SOUNDS SO CREEPY). He loves the smell of your shampoo and has decided to buy the same one as you, however he didn't like it because March caught a whiff and made fun of him for weeks with you in earshot.
-He likes when you doodle on his hand with a pen or a marker. He also let's you do his eyeliner because you recenctly only realised he had one eye done and the other not, seeing as you start to do this more often, he buys more eyeliner and different colours for you to experiment with. (Although you both agree he looks better in red.)
-ABSOLUTELY 100% LOVES YOUR MUSIC! At first he didn't because he thought it was weird, but you eventually start catching him humming your favourite songs and you start to slowly make him play lists and organise an entire library of his and your favourite music together.
-He has matching plushies with you, you guys switch them every night and act like divorced parents who have to switch kids every weekend.
Gepard:
-He eats all the food in the fridge and you see him with his mouth dirty and can't help get too mad at him when he says he hasn't been in the kitchen all day. Other than his crimson cheeks, messy mouth and embarrassed eyes, nothing tells you more of his crime than his horrible acting skills.
-When he goes out, he likes to bring you back something, honestly anything. He once brought back an entire couch because he heard you needed a new one that fitted the aesthetic of your living room.
-Think golden retriever, you shall receive golden retriever.
-He likes when you praise him, it gets him happy and excited, a little shy and he just acts like he has just received the best present in the world, however it backfires when he compliments you as well. Your face heats up and even if he can't tell, he knows from your expression and attitude he got to you more than you let him see.
March
-She’s 100% tried to steal your clothes and you catch her every single time.
-She is so bad at hiding the fact she steals your clothing that whenever you walk into your room, you INSTANTLY sense your favourite sweater was taken hostage.
-Obviously she loves you and gives you fashion advice, but only when she’s ready will she let you borrow her own clothes. For her, this is an extreme act of love and trust.
-She totally takes your phone and blows up your storage with 100+ pictures of her or you sleeping, your phone almost shut itself down on multiple occasions 😭.
-Likes to try bake you little sweets from different planets. Due to her past, she cannot remember where she is from, so her love language is giving you things from other planets or your home planet, especially through baked goods! She’s either a cooking pro or she burns down the entire Express. It’s a 50/50.
Serval
-Loves hearing you sing. You sound like Gepard? It’s okay! She has her best smile on to encourage her lover!
-She 1000% stole your musical instrument (if you play one) and tried learning it for you if you don’t have a guitar.
-Not everything with her is musical, but she finds it does help when she’s cooking, cleaning, working in her shop, she even has a playlist that has your name on it and is full of songs that remind her of you.
-She shows you baby pictures of Gepard and Lynx. You’ve never ONCE seen her though. Kinda sketchy. Just ask Gepard and suddenly you have millions of cute chubby little Serval’s everywhere!
-That one fangirl who waits for Serval or tries to catch a glimpse? Not anymore! All the windows are now only see through on the inside and Serval has taken extra measures to keep her and your life private from her groupie. Will tell the girl to knock it off if you’re extremely uncomfortable.
Kafka
-She has the passwords to every account you’ve ever made on any platform. She doesn’t go through any of them but she likes that you share that with her, she in turn lets you go through her email. That’s all she has. 🙁
-She caught you wearing her uniform once and just stayed at the door watching you say her signature catch phrases. 11/10 embarrassing, 100/10 her thinking it was cute as hell.
-She doesn’t really have time for dates or anything of the such, but whenever you really need her, desperately, she’s there instantly. Sometimes you use your trump card when there’s a creepy bug and she catches it ONLY TO THROW THAT MF IN YOUR GENERAL DIRECTION.
-Has a pet snake. I genuinely am a firm believer she has a pet snake that she named in your honour. If you like snakes or not, you will have to feed it when she’s gone. 🙁
Disclaimer: Hello! This is my first ever piece on this website so I hope it reaches the right audience! I'm still a little new to this so if you have any tips for how to get better accustomed to the app I'd be happy to learn!
I've recently had a hyperfixation on Dan Heng so hopefully this expresses my love for him psfjdhfjsj HELP THERE'S A FEW SPELLING MISTAKES
TW: Might be a little sad, Dan Heng ignores reader due to his feelings, Dan Heng hopelessly in love with you and terrified of his feelings towards you. Readers birthday, mwah!
Dan Heng couldn't comprehend it. His feelings for you have skyrocketed and he can't help but get a feeling at the bottom of his stomach whenever he sees you.
He doesn't like what you've done to him these past few months since you first joined him and the others. He couldn't find it in his heart to trust you after the effect you had on him so drastically but he also couldn't help not let you into his heart through your caring actions towards the others. How you communicate with March 7th, it makes his heart flutter and the way you make coffee for Himeko before her waking up.
He wonderered what you haven't done to make everyone's life just that inch more easier. Even Pom Pom adored you in their own little way.
What really hit the nail on the coffin for Dan Heng was when you found him awake in the dead of night when even Welt himself was asleep. You carefully approached him with a careful hand on his shoulder, making him shiver whenever he remembers the event.
"Would you like a cup of coffee? Tea, perhaps?" he knew you could see the bags under his eyes and the messy nest ontop of his head, yet all you did was offer him a hot beverage. You could have told him to go to sleep but he knew you knew that would have done nothing. And for that, he slowly started opening up to you. From a distance that is.
You had in fact won him over but his crippling fear of rejection stopped him. He couldn't face you again after he came to the conclusion he doesn't feel the same way he does with you with Himeko or March for example. How would you react if you saw him smile ever so gently whenever you help someone or whenever you explain to March why Welt has his phone brightness too high and can't change it due to his lack of expertise in mobile phones, causing March to giggle and try take Welt's phone.
So, he began to ignore you. And it did hurt him to see March come in his room without you because he simply couldn't see you. You had caught on quite quickly after the 3rd or 4th time he kept making excuses to not being able to spend time with you.
As time passed, your birthday was finally here and of course you felt horrible because this amazing boy was ignoring you, and of course you told March who felt the need to scold him personally and escort, as she frased it the, "Sorry Looking Emo Potato Salad" to the meeting held in place for your birthday. He of course had said previously that he was busy sorting out the files of the new monsters you had stumbled across and it would take the whole day. You felt your eyes tear up when he came in startled and with a face full of shame and desire to run away from the situation.
"March.. It's okay, he said he was busy. Honestly, Dan Heng it's okay, go do what you have to do." it angered you that the one you most wanted to spend your birthday with couldn't be bothered but your interest rised when he pulled out a little dark green envelope and a blue bag with a Happy Birthday plastered on it. It looked like his handwriting so perhaps it almost made up for him ignoring you all this time. Almost.
"Oh..? Thank you Dan Heng! I know you've been really busy these few weeks. So I appreciate it!" you were still upset but alot less now that you've seen the boy and you had a beautifully wrapped gift inside from him, there was shredded navy blue tissue paper covering the top.
"Happy Birthday Y/N. I'm sorry I haven't seen you much. I have to go now. If you don't like it or it isn't right, come to my room later tonight. I want you to open the envelope and my present last, please."
With that, the boy was off again. And instead of the feeling of sadness and hurt wash over you, you felt quite happy and curious for what he could have gotten you.
"Well that was weird.. Oh Y/N, Y/N!! Look at my gift!" you went on and started opening the rest of your presents, almost forgetting about the raven haired boy and his mysterious envelope and present.
After the little party, you found yourself ecstatic. You were going to have a sleepover with March after you got dressed and changed your out of your beautiful birthday outfit. Himeko wouldn't stop complimenting you and your colour combinations. It made you feel special.
Just as you were about to leave, from the corner of your eye, you see the little bag. You had put the envelope inside and from there you took it upstairs, having a quick chat with Welt and then changing.
You picked it up and saw a rectangular box, as you carefully tear off the paper, you see a stunning pair of earrings, they matched your everyday work outfit and still stood out, in the light shining your favourite shade of (F/C). You felt so full and empty at the same time, these must have cost a fortune but they were so fricking pretty. They made you laugh softly.
You had only discovered your feelings for him a week before he started disappearing on you. You made him that hot beverage and took him to his room, helping him put the last of his data he had collected and took his mug when he was finished. That moment was so domestic and made you strangely happy. You couldn't see yourself doing that for anyone other than March and you loved her like a sister.
The envelope caught your attention, as you begin to open it you hear a knock at your door, "Y/N! Are you coming?" March did have a habit of being impatient.
"Yes! One second, I'll be right there March." as she walked away, you opened the envelope, noticing the little pattern engraved onto the paper inside and on the envelope itself. It had a scent to it, as if Dan Heng himself hugged the letter and it caught his perfume.
Dear Y/N,
I'm sorry I've been so distant lately. I've grown to like you more than a friend would, and it hurts me every time I ignore you and you hurt. I've been afraid of rejection almost my entire life and I could not stand to lose another person I have grown to love. If you do not feel the same way, please ignore this letter. I just felt the need to explain myself because you deserve it. I've been selfish.
