COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN AHHHHH

A few years ago while trying to find ways to commit suicide as painlessly as possible, I came across a PDF of Dr. Paul Quinnett's The Forever Decision. Thinking it might go into actual methods of suicide (I read an article once that actually did that and was trying to find it again) I started to read it, and I think I only got about two pages in before I was crying too much to actually see the words.
I downloaded the PDF to my hard drive and I open it again whenever I'm feeling too suicidal to do much else, but not enough to start booking a ride to the hospital. And every time without fail I only go up to a few pages before backing off and choosing to live another day just because suicide suddenly seems even more unbearable than whatever the hell upset me in the first place.
All the book really does is [I'm pulling a summary from GoodReads here as, again, I've read no more than 5 pages] "discusses the social aspects of suicide, the right to die, anger, loneliness, depression, stress, hopelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, the consequences of a suicide attempt, and how to get help."
But it also starts with the author kindly asking the reader to complete the book before going through with anything, and for some reason I'm compelled to really just try to read it all before finalizing everything. Despite not yet completing it (hopefully never will) I think I can safely say it's saved my life at least a few times now.
It's intentionally legal to copy and redistribute this book to keep it as accessible as possible, and it's very easy to find, but here's a link for it anyways.
There are entire, textured 3D models of the cafe, speakeasy, and cave system that we use for scene layout and background setup. I can't share those with you right now, but here are some top down reference drawings of mine we've used to create those models.
(These are for the animated series and are a bit different from the layout of the maps for the comic.)

Maybe -- just MAYBE -- don't spit on other characters and ships and works when the artist you congratulate and reblog from also draws those?

Something that really happened the other night that gave me so much emotional whiplash I had to make a comic out of it. Enjoy!
Hi there Pebs!! I’m a big fan of your work and I wondering if you had advice on commission pricing. I’ve gotten a few animatic commissions and I’ve kinda been going off my usual illustration pricing. You’ve done quite a few animatic commissions yourself and I was wondering how you go about the pricing bc I don’t if there’s a better way to do it? (thank you, love your work! 🫶🏽)
Heya! Thank you so much for loving my work!! Makes me so happy to hear that always!
I base my animatic pricing on timing cuz my animatics are basically just tons of rough sketches I can get done in a short time that rendered illustrations. So when you guys reach out to me with audios to do I charge £10 per second for it.
I’m not sure if that cheap or expensive tbh but it’s what works for me atm
In case anyone finds it helpful because mobility aids are horrifically expensive and inaccessible…
And for those people who have access to mobility devices but might benefit from a second chair they can abuse without risking expensive damage…
Erik Kondo has made a website, Open Source Innovations, that details plans for DIY wheelchairs. These wheelchairs can be made from common materials like wood, plastic, and pvc. They are lightweight and can be custom fit to the user allowing from the same degree of movement you would get from a custom chair. And they are durable and easily repairable. (he has been stress testing his latest design by dropping it down stairs, dropping it out of a car, launching it across a driveway, and throwing it off a deck). Its 12lbs and I think he said its was in the $200 ish range for parts.
He also is working on cheap, open source, accessible designs for beach chairs, off road chairs, motorized attachments (think smart drive), and so on. Plus he skateboards in his wheelchair. Cool dude, helpful info, pass it on.
It's incredibly sad people have to resort to this, but it's a damn good resource. Use it. Spread awareness. Maybe one day people with physical disabilities won't need DIYs like this. But until then, reblog and share.
This is Accessibility!
That's so amazing! It is unfortunate that so many people will need this, but very very cool that it exists
That other link seems to be broken.
Thank you so much for putting the working one!
I will add it to my original reblog as well.
In these promotional images, they looked peaceful and happy together. I wish we could have seen something like this in the series too 🥹
And stay safe everyone!
