Idk, I just wanted to finish up a quick sketch of an idea I had- since the Sides are shapeshifters that must mean they can make up tattoos too right? And following that logic, pun intended, Logan would absolutely never ‘summon’ tattoos for himself or whatever. …but hypothetically if he did, it would all be nerd stuff like logos (Doctor Who and Startreck) and a basic galaxy design lol.

Had the idea that after Thomas pierced his ears Remus wanted more so he would use random things like nails, thumb tacks, safety pins, etc. as earrings, and I came up with the little comic between him and Janus

Ok but like. The concept of patton's role is just. Fundamentally so fucked up.

He's the inner child and the inner parent at the same time. He's their paragon of innocence but he's also their strict moral compass. He's in charge of thomas's long-term memory- his nostalgia, his regrets, his longing for the past. He's the embodiment of all of thomas's emotions, good and bad. He's both the source of and subject to thomas's overwhelming sense of guilt. He's the man upstairs but he's just your dad knocking on your bedroom door but he's also the teary eyed kid who's kneeling at his bed and telling god that he's sorry.

Not really the order I expected to be doing these pages in, but whatever lol. He was just a lot of fun to draw and honestly the hardest part was choosing between poses and then realizing I was being over ambitious lmao.

Still kind of sad I couldn’t squeeze this pose on, but to be fair, I think 90% of the reason I liked it is because of C!Thomas’s reaction lmao

Whenever I draw the sides I have to figure out if I wanna draw them as the same guy with different hair/accessories or give them each a totally unique design, cause both ways are really fun. Went with the latter this time around!
