this may be my age showing but I am a passionate supporter of wires. earbuds? put a leash on those things. wireless keyboard? no, it needs to hold hands with the computer. the ps5 controller I forgot to charge has the staying power of a wealthy nonagenarian with a much younger wife and 14 life insurance policies, but the controller plugged into my pc? that baby will outlive my bloodline. my ethernet cable is like a son to me.

#rather than stagnation i would say escapism for the purposes of it is ok to be still stillness is good actually contrary to capitalist grind #culture and the fear of stagnation and inertia for most of us is coming from there. we often ponder ourselves into avoidance & avoidance of #the present moment but reading it primarily as “inaction” “unproductive” “stagnant” is a v capitalistic view point #what matters is the present moment. don't ponder yourself into forgetting the present moment #forgetting your sovereignty and your agency #forgetting your hands are right in front of you #i think it's helpful to elaborate on 'stagnation' at least #tho i get the original intent obvs #but speaking to self this way could incite fear [of stagnancy] more than inspiring aligned action
