Realizing the guy you've been trying to help thought YOU SPECIFICALLY were just waiting in the wings to do some horrid shit is a lot, especially for someone who's gotten like 3 hours of sleep a night max the last few months
Felt like drawing some more Project Hail Mary Treasure Planet crossover AU sketches
Sometimes they eat sand dollars : )
Sharks have 10-20 times the bite force of a human.
A sand dollar test has roughly twelve times the crushing strength of a Pringle. QED, a shark may indeed experience the crispness of a Pringle.
Love and peace on planet earth
My friend made a joke about Zevran and Lainel having the energy of a family with way too many kids. Well... Now, all three of these were stolen from crows
"Not only he embarrassed us, kills our talons, but now also steals our recruits?"

Dragon Age Origins AU where everything is the same except your origin's temporary companion comes with you to Ostagar and joins the Wardens. Dalish Origin? Tamlen is a menace. He's ready to fight anybody and everybody at Ostagarâeven the King. Especially the shem king. Duncan hopes you keep an eye on him. It takes a lot persuading to get him to do the Dark Ritual. Easier if you're a female warden and you have a relationship with him, because he doesn't want you to die and he doesn't want to die. Will bitch a lot in Dalishâand so can you. Mage Origin? Jowan never leaves your side. He doesn't want to leave your side, not after what you lost to help him. Wynne's glare has him cowering and using you for cover. He becomes braver, however, and when the march of Denerim comes, he is fully willing to take the final blow for you, his best and only friend. Human Noble? Gilmore will doing anything to protect you, his friend, his lord/lady. He was fully willing to attack Duncan during the Joining if you had died. He gets along best with Alistair. If you become King or Queen, he becomes your bodyguard, and will follow you even to Vigil's Keep. Dwarf Noble? Gorim will follow you anywhere. He's there in the Deep Roads, willing to die by his prince/princess, when you are both found by Duncan. He doesn't particularly want to support Bhelen for the throne, but if you do he will stand by your decision. If you had a child as a male, you can use the human way of making him the kid's godfather. Dwarf Commoner? Leske had no choice when Duncan claimed him with you, but at least he's alive and breathing! And with you, too. During Ostagar, you can let him loose and he comes back trinkets and money. Doesn't like the whole 'saving the world' thing but, hey, at least they're looting. He really changes his tune if you make Bhelen king and, later on if Hardened, Alistair is made king/king with Anora because, wow, he's palling with royalty and getting the royal treatment! Fist fights Oghren a lot. City Elf? Soris doesn't really want to be here. But you're here, and you've been his hero since you were children and he knows nothing can take you down, so he's a little bit comforted. He slowly comes into his own, being confident and sure of himself, and Shianni makes a comment about it and he says it's because he had you, his cousin, his friend, helping him. He and Zevran have a flirty relationship and, at the end if you didn't romance Zevran, have a hint of a relationship going on. Is fully willing to either die for you or do the Dark Ritual, because he wants to repay all the times you were his hero to be your hero just this once.
he's literally nice...
Nice try Bioware, but I know the state of Southern Thedas better than you do.
First off, it matters if the Hero of Ferelden is alive or not. When the First Warden recalled all wardens, our hero knew that was a bad call and refused, finally splitting off from Weisshaupt after years of mismanagement and taking scores of wardens with them. Their presence and leadership makes all the difference, rallying southern Thedas once more against the blight. If you have only an Orlesian Warden Commander in Amaranthine theyâre less inspiring, but as long as youâve done Awakening they are a boon nonetheless. There is someone to lead the fight against the darkspawn while other focus on the Venatori.
If you 100% completed Awakenings and also Soldierâs Peak, the Ferelden wardens have never been so prepared. Theyâre organized, theyâre outfitted and theyâve been ready for this for years. Also, if you allied with the Architect then you have scores of strange research to give you an edge.
If Merrill completed her Eluvian then she moves south once again and joins the effort. Sheâs managed to cleanse the blight before and sheâs ready to try it again. And her knowledge of the crossroads gives the south an edge on their movement and supply lines. If Hawkeâs sibling is a Warden they accompanied her.
If the Inquisitor let Briala have power in any way, the Dales become the leaders in the war against the Venatori, forming a formidable alliance with Ferelden, Orzammar and the Marches, the likes of which have never been seen. And if you completed Jaws of Hakkon then their alliances with the Avvar and Chasind are stronger than ever.
Of course, if the Inquisitor kept the Wardens around after Here Lies the Abyss then their numbers are bolstered. It may cost Wiesshaupt later, but thatâs Rooks problem. And if you completed the Descent, then the Inquisitor and Warden had a much better idea of what was coming and spent ten years getting ready.
They will not be broken.
They will weather this storm.
My man is fighting for his life
there's no way anyone believed them
I just think characters like Halsin and Blackwall should look a little more like sumo wrestlers and a lot less like shredded, 0% body fat, dehydrated Marvel superheroes.
But maybe that's just me. đ¤ˇââď¸

Why Leliana is half dwarf
My hc theory on why Leliana is half dwarf.
The rest of the post is under the cut.
.
1 - Her mom was a servant to an Orlesian noble, and dwarven servants are common in Orlais. Nobles:Â Donât be an idiot. How could the Herald of Andraste be a dwarf? Nobles:Â Maybe itâs just a servant.
The comments Orlesian nobles make towards a dwarf inquisitor in the Winter Palace. 2 - As it's seen in the mission In Hushed Whispers, Leliana has a very strong resistance to the Blight sickness. Dwarves are naturally resistant to the Blight sickness due to their constant proximity to the darkspawn. And in another example, the dwarves of Kal'Sharok have adapted and "become inmune" to the blight disease, similarly to Grey Wardens. So it'd make sense if she had inherited this same resistance from her mom.
No, no, keep talking. I like this. I didn't see the codex before about resistant blood... đ

The Akira bike slide and every animation ever made since the 1988/1990 film releases
My post of the year, and the decade, and my favorite addition.
This one quickly passed my most popular game-related posts and rarely slows down. Made the gif as an afterthought to my comment about a Shadowrun bike possibly being a subtle Akira nod; itâs mostly based on a short tribute video with captions I couldnât translate.
