I had a dream the other night where I met amc’s lestat and I told him about his book counter part. Like I told him that Louis was a white slave owner in the book and he was utterly appalled. But when I told him that the other version of himself turned Claudia when she was 5 he was even more disgusted. It was weird because it was like I couldn’t stop myself from telling him all these little details from his other life but he was still really fascinated with all the info I was telling him. I still can’t get over that I was lore dumping the vampire chronicles to the actual Lestat in this dream. It was also weird because it seemed like all of this information I was telling him was oddly comforting to him, like it made him feel better about his own situation somehow. I remember that he even asked about what was going to happen in the future and I was like it was probably for the best that you don’t know because you have to go on your own unique journey or smth like that. Haha I guess the new teaser got into my psyche somehow

Made this bingo card for season 3 a couple of months ago when we didn’t have any of the info from comic con. Some of these might not turn out to be true but I am going to stick with my gut all the way to the release of the entire season. Can we please have nuance about the nuance show about the nuanced characters in a show that is based on books that have nuance?

This is gothic fiction. None of it is supposed to be easy or comfortable to digest. That’s what makes the story worth talking about in the first place whether it be source material or any of the adaptations

Honestly the fact that it is not easy for anybody to be in a relationship with either Louis or Lestat makes their relationship just that more perfect. They are both just so insufferable (I say this with all the love) that of course they are always just have to return to each other at the end of it all. They are the only ones that can truly stand each others worse sides and I just think that’s beautiful

Can I just say that I really appreciated that Dale Helen never became enemies even though they were competing with each other for the number 1 spot? They never spewed hateful words at each other and if something unethical was happening they didn't take advantage of each other to get ahead. They were always kind to each other and for the most part had each other's backs. I just really loved how wholesome they were with each other this season especially towards the end of the show. The platonic love that they had for each other was everything 💖

I feel so insane right now because at the very end of Abbott Elementary S4 E4 there are two kids in costumes that look like they are dressed as Lestat and Akasha... Either I'm crazy and that's not what those costumes were supposed to be or someone in the Abbott writing room is a vampire chronicles fan. I hope it's the latter.

Can anyone else help me confirm this?

Because I saw no noise of this when the ep came out... But maybe I'm the only one who has seen both shows. 😮‍💨

Do you ever see a video on YouTube or TikTok where people are talking about your favorite piece of media and they somehow painfully misinterpret something about the story that seems so obvious to you that you think there is no possible way that they could messed it up so badly but they do and you want to write a comment to correct them but then you know in the grand scheme of things and it doesn’t fucking matter so you don’t comment anything but it still annoys you to no end?

Tbh the most underrated power that the VC and IWTV vampires have is that they can take dirt naps.

Like too tired of living and feeling a little insane? Just go deep into the earth and induce yourself into a coma.

Upset about the current way that the world is going right now? Just go to sleep for 200 years maybe things will be better after.

God I wish that I could do that.
