i love that one person a few [time] ago who was being like "yeah i'll respect someone's name choice but not pronouns" (something about names being a choice but pronouns being biological or something), and i called out their stupidity because, hey, say you are introducing your new co worker to someone. you'd get weird looks if you point to some man with a full beard "yeah this john, you can go to HER with any questions you have. SHE is in your department", especially if everyone else refers to him with he/him pronouns.

This is unprecedented. Tech companies don't just pull out of military contracts like this. I apologize if this sounds pessimistic in any way, but I really am just in complete awe that this happened. I had absolutely zero trust in Microsoft to do the right thing, and this news just blew me away to wake up to.
