Matchup Details And Rules
Hiii I’ve finally decided to make this so let’s get right to it!
What this post will contain: what you should be asking in my matchups and what you will be receiving. I also changed my format now to better suit my writing and get these out faster.
Fandoms I do matchups for: Boku No Hero Academia, Haikyuu, Bungou Stray Dogs, Ace Attorney and Danganronpa for now.
Note: this post is inclined to change
Rules To Obey While Submitting:
There aren’t many rules but the ones I do give, please obey or else your matchup might not be to your liking.
I’ll only do one character either way but you can enter multiple fandoms
It would be easier for me to match you up with someone who’s the gender you prefer because if you say something like “I’m homosexual” without gender, idk if you like men or women, and so I’ll go with the best character I see you being with.
(If you don’t specify your gender/pronouns, I’ll just automatically use “they”)
If these aren’t provided, I will DM you. If you’re on anon/don’t accept them, then I’ll simply go with the person I think you’ll be with, regardless of what you are attracted to.
3. Small Summary Of Your Personality
This is imperative to any matchup request but I will say some things that might not matter for me personally:
- Looks: Honestly not really important for me so you can keep it at one sentence or none tbh
- Star Sign/Zodiac and Personailty Type: I’m in no way experienced with this sort of thing so putting it in your description probably won’t affect your matchup a lot but if you do put it, I’ll do my best with it
And what I would appreciate in descriptions, though not mandatory:
- You As An S/O: Maybe some of the quirks your s/o needs to know about. Ex. Getting affectionate when hungry, dislike for PDA etc etc. Can be anything but just a small sentence(s) on how you would behave around the one you love
- What You’re Looking For In A Person: Not a specific name, just small preferences. Like, you’d prefer them to be tall, to be smart, to be cheesy… Nothing too descriptive
Now the big part: formatting
Before, I just wrote a little story but I’ve decided to change it because I can see it being offensive to some and way too time-consuming for me to do. The new one isn’t too different but does have some notable changes to save me some time as well:
I’ll start with a why. Why do they like you, and why you two click
Some headcanons on what you guys can do together and how they make up your other half, going into detail with each point about yourself you wrote
Next, it will be some bullet points on how you met. Basic stuff though it’s in headcanon format now
Third, I’ll say how they fell in love. Was it instantaneous or slow? In what situation did they recognize your infatuation? Also will sprinkle some how the characters they are associated with think of you.
And then, it’ll be how you two got together, this in more detail and like a drabble, usually ending in a tender moment.
And here, I’ll reveal the different tidbits for each fandom I’ll be doing these for!
I’ll be going into the future to see how your relationship with them turned out. There won’t be major spoilers, just what that person’s job is in the canon time skip. No spoilers for any other characters. And if you’re still insistent on not knowing, I’ll put bold words saying MANGA SPOILERS before delving into it and bolded END MANGA SPOILERS when im done. Or just shoot me an ask, saying you don’t want it and I’ll leave it out
BNHA: same with Haikyuu but no spoilers whatsoever. Just you with your s/o, probably as a pro-hero
There will be a little sorting kind of thing where I determine (*cough cough* guess *cough cough*) which organization you belong in based on the personality traits you posses. Although I might (and probably will) be wrong, it’ll be a nice little tidbit nevertheless.
- Ace Attorney
Same with bungou stray dogs but with attorneys and prosecutors as the ones for me to sort you into.
Danganronpa: Now this one’s a little different
The whole matchup will take place in an AU where everyone is in high school and not a killing game so for the special little something, I’ll add in “if you were the murderer” and “if you were the victim” with your matchup character’s reaction. No “Ultimate” talent specified for you in this
That was that! I’m not opening up matchups anytime soon, it’s a bit tiring doing them but these are the rules I hope you’ll follow
