Few things in life can be as rewarding as babies photography - after convincing an expression of angelic joy - caught with a click. Here are some easy steps you can take to take the perfect portrait of the girl in your eye.
Distance click:
Babies are unpredictable, so tears and tantrums are expected. Do not be afraid to keep the camera firing instead of waiting for that perfect position or moment, because somewhere in 30 consecutive shots there will be a winner. Assuming you have a fair amount of natural light, choose an ISO of 100-400 and use a wide aperture (f / 2.8-f / 8) for a shallow DOF (depth of field). Use the continuous shooting mode on your camera to capture 2, 3, 4 or 5 photographs in a couple of seconds.
Check the lighting:
To get the best shots for babies, photographed during the day when there is plenty of natural light. Natural light gives a soft look to the baby's skin. Use the light from the window if possible and avoid the strong sun because it tends to cast shadows and is also not healthy for the baby's skin. A standard 50 mm lens is ideal for this type of image. Set the mode dial to AV mode (Open priority), select a high ISO and a wide aperture. Allow the camera to choose the correct shutter speed. Use an external flash (with a diffuser) to fill in the dark spots.

When photographing babies, you may have to "cut" them to provoke a reaction. This can include making funny faces, playing hide and seek behind a piece of cloth, or making silly clucking noises. There are so many ways you can coax a smile into a baby's lips. Get "your best half" to achieve that perfect expression, while setting up the shot. You must work fast to capture the moment, so choose a fast shutter speed of 1 / 500s or more, use a wide aperture (f / 1.8-f / 4) for a blurry background and shoot!
Simple funds:
Simple injections for babies are usually the best; there is no need for messy or too bright backgrounds. A good way to get a photo that looks professional is to get a white, gray or beige cloth and place it on two chairs. Place the cloth near a large window with the baby on it with some toys.
