I went to a WMU [Women’s Missions Union] event this weekend, and there were booths set up for different organizations that partner with WMU. This particular one takes a stand against abortion. Guys, these models of babies represent the stages in pregnancy that they can still be killed. Legally. The largest baby is FIVE MONTHS OLD. FIVE. FREAKING. MONTHS. What absolutely kills me is there is even any debate about whether or not a baby inside of his or her mama is alive.

The size here is off. At 20 weeks (5 months) a fetus is less than 7 inches long. Generally even less than 6.5 inches long. A standard clipboard is 9x12 inches. That biggest doll definitely looks longer than the 9 inch width of that clipboard. Even the next to biggest looks too big to represent a fetus with a gestational age of 20 weeks.

Also, at the point when most abortions occur a fetus/embryo is less than an inch long. Just slight over .5 inch even.

And who is debating whether or not a fetus is alive? Of course a fetus is usually alive.

PLEASE be cautious if you are a minor in fandom spaces. Block without thinking, stop interacting if you ever feeling unsafe, and trust your gut no matter what. If someone is making you uncomfortable cut off contact. You owe them nothing. There is nothing wrong with only interacting with bloggers your age. With adding ‘Do not follow if you are over X age” and blocking those who ignore the rule.
