So well said! #Repost @noringnosheets with @repostapp. ・・・ Imagine yourself in your kitchen, throwing down! You've got all of the greats of the greats cooking on the stove. You've singlehandedly prepared a 5 course meal! Bravo! You set the table and lay out the spread you spent weeks saving up for and hours slaving over the hot stove preparing. Everything is ready. You get dressed up very nicely in your best outfit you so conveniently purchased for the arrival of your guest. You sit by the door in your recently cleaned home and await your guest's arrival. The only problem is, you never invited anyone. You've been waiting on a man to come and experience the preparations you've made for him, yet you aren't even sure if he's coming, let alone exists. All the while, the Spirit of the beautiful God you serve lingers by the dining table, waiting for you. You've prepared everything for this man, yet the one you say you serve, has been sitting there the whole entire time. He's been with you from the very beginning of your walk with God, yet you neglect to ready yourself for Him, for the return of the Son of God. He gently reminds you that a man is not a promised result of being in a relationship with Him. He comforts you and reminds you He is all you need. So, my sweet Sister in Christ, I admonish you to prepare for CHRIST and not another human. His return/arrival is the ONLY written one that is promised to you. Prepare for Him. Whatever comes, you'll naturally be ready for because of His divine nature to prepare us for His plans for our lives. Well done is the goal, not "will you be my girlfriend" or "I do". #NORingNOSheets
