Days like today remind me how a simple act of kindness exudes Christ more than words ever will. An old man came up to my job with a flat(rim all detached, smh), he was there for a while, people came, saw and left. No one offered to help. I went to go ask him if he needs my help(I can change a tire 😊) and he was sooo grateful for me just offering. As I was helping him get the spare out, 2 men came and started to help so I didn't get to show my skills( but that's besides the point lol). When he was all set and ready to go, he expressed that there are few good people in this world and I'm one of them. That made me feel good, but really I was just tryna help. It's no biggie. I'm sure he went away feeling better about his flat tire situation and that's all that matters. #lendahelpinghand #showJesus Your life is your ministry!

I see and hear a lot about leadership but people are looking for an example not leadership! They are hungry for a real man or woman of God! Anyone can lead, the world is full of secular leaders but not everyone can be a true example in Christ. The Apostle Paul said to follow him as he followed Christ. Let's rise up and show the world Christ! Let your example lead! #itstimetoriseup #showjesus

FREE24

FREE24 is an amazing new way of living. FREE24 is simple, in theory, but you will find it quite challenging. FREE24 is to go complaint free for 24 hours. I tried this myself this week, I have yet to accomplish it. The rules are simple, you try your best to go without complaining for 24 hours. Every time you complain either to someone else, or in your mind, you have to start the 24 hour period over again. For example: if you went 23 hours without a single complaint, then there was one unruly slip of the tongue, and now you have to start again. Even though it seems petty and unreasonable, remember this. God, an infinite and all powerful being, chose you to worship Him. He gave you the ability to speak, breath, dance, sing, create, enjoy, and simply live. So why is going complaint free for 24 hours so hard? We need to remind ourselves that God loves us, and that is more than enough.

How to Encourage

To encourage by definition means, "give support, confidence, or hope to (someone)." This is simply the goal of this blog. I want nothing more than to speak love and healing into others lives. Being a light in a negative and dark world should always be our goal. We should be the types of people that others go to in times of need. We should be unconditionally loving people. We should love people even talk different than us, dress different than us, look different than us, or even when they believe different than us. That's what try encouragement is. It's looking past flaws, failures, differences, and seeing a broken person. So I charge you, pick three people this week to encourage; text them, meet them for lunch, etc.. Be a light in someones week, let them know that you care about them and that you will love them unconditionally.
