they don’t do anything to further a situation and just make everybody uncomfortable, no matter if it’s “i’ll k//ll you” or “you should k//ll y//urself” or whatever other creative things people can come up with.
i’m definitely not a fan of everything that’s been going on, and yes there are very bad people in the kin community (and the tumblr community as a whole), but there is no excuse to be posting death threats.

reasons why people with ADHD lie
we didn't remember what was happening and our brain made something up we only later realized wasn't true.
no one believes us when we tell the truth so it's easier to lie.
we didn't realize we were lying until the words were already out.
we have a complicated relationship to truth in that we rarely know what it is until we're told/have it affirmed to us.
We're embarrassed
we're gonna get yelled at for telling the truth anyway (because it involves some ADHD fuck-up or other)
the crushing fear of rejection we think will happen if we dont give the “correct” answer even if there is literally no wrong answer

- Look, you yelled at us and insisted that “I forgot” was a lie - when it wasn’t - so many times that we threw up our hands and said “Fuck it”. Who even knows what the truth is now? Certainly not us, APPARENTLY.
- It’s not necessarily a lie as such, but if I’m in the middle of a low-key panic attack, *something* will come out of my mouth and it may or may not be the whole truth, or the truth from a certain point of view, or somewhat random and unrelated, because I’m currently devoting most of my higher brain functions to keeping the panic from becoming A Problem

- look, the actual truth would take me six hours to explain because I would devolve into Tolkeinesque levels of context, which is a problem I have, particularly when I don’t know if you know about x, y, and z. Were you there that time when I spent twenty minutes giving the backstory of how I met Bob, and then completely forgot I was talking about Bob? I do that a lot. One time-- oh, crap, right. I was trying to avoid doing that.
- “because my brain doesn’t work” is an answer that gets treated as “because I didn’t care”

Fun fact: Samoyeds were bred largely as sled dogs, but they were also used as warming dogs, meaning they would lay on their owners to keep them warm in harsh cold climates.

I fostered a Samoyed. She would BREAK OUT OF HER KENNEL just to lay on me. Every. Single. Night. I couldn’t escape the love cloud. Every time I would lie in my bed, BOOM. Love cloud! Here for cuddles! We had to REINFORCE her kennel just so that she wouldn’t break out. See, this warming dog was trying to cuddle with me in 90+ F (32+ C) degree weather. It was inescapable.
Summary: A cloud tried to suffocate me in nearly 100-degree (38) weather because it was in her nature.

My cat is not a familiar, that I know of, just a brat! He likes to smell everything on my altar anyways. I keep telling him if he’s not careful, he will be an offering and the fairies could take him away! Lol

i just got into witchcraft and started clearing out a space for my alter. i had to go to bed before i finished, though, and as i’m staying up in the night, i see my cat.

How To Tell If You’ve Been Cursed
The Egg Test
Simply take an egg (obviously from your own chickens is best but uh, Im going to assume most of you dont have one so store is fine), and carefully pass the egg through the flame of a white or black candle to “draw out the bad” and set intent. Then crack into a white bowl.
If you find blood: You’re cursed! Blood is never ever a good thing to find in your eggs, but especially during The Egg Test.
If you find big white clots: The bigger the clot the bigger the problem. It usually means some kind of blockage or obstruction in your life. Sometimes from some form of bad energy. Note: white clots in eggs is very very normal. Only take notice if they are unusually large
If you find egg shell: (Now if you’re really bad at cracking eggs maybe ignore this one) but this is a sign of your generic brand Bad Luck.
If you find a broken yolk: Take notice of your internal and subconcious self. The root of your problems comes from a disturbance within.
If you find something unusual: Listed above or otherwise, cleansing methods (such as a salt bath) will usually clean up most problems. Do your own research for cleansing methods of choice. I would advise not to eat the egg, but rather to pass the egg one final time (in the bowl) over the white flame before disposing off it outside. If you do cook it (because hey, I get it) use protective herbs like basil or rosemary and don’t forget to salt!
If you find nothing unusual: chop onions, mushrooms, and spinach up while heating an oiled pan on medium low. Add the egg to the pan, when a yellow film forms around the side and the egg can be separated easily, fill the center with toppings and flip half over to form an omelet. Cook through, flipping as needed. Season with salt, pepper, fresh herbs, and tomato (salsa if you’re frisky). That’s my favorite way to cook an egg!
