I can understand that you might not be feeling your best right now maybe because things might be going the way you had imagined and hoped for. It's frustrating, confusing and you might almost feel like you're at a crossroad. However, it gets better, it always gets better because nothing in life is static. It's never now or never, there's a lesson in the stories and the moments that seem repetitive and endless.

I don't think H intended to put the relationship in the spotlight, perhaps because she genuinely didn't want to be in the public eye much (though my take is that he was initially advised not to show too much of the relationship; we'll never know the truth). However, the theories linking him to C were getting too strong; part of the fandom already knew he had a girlfriend, and to make matters worse, DM exposed them. Then the hate directed at him started to mount, with many accusing him of "queerbaiting," and the haters' narrative was gaining serious traction. The only way to end or flip that narrative is to show the girlfriend more.
To me, H still seems conflicted about whether or not to draw attention to the relationship. There’s a reason she doesn't post him on social media. If we accept the theory that she’s the more dominant partner, if she starts asserting that dominance publicly now, people will claim she’s trying to capitalize on the visibility or seeking more attention than him—the actual famous one. She’d start getting even more hate (H certainly doesn't want that. To me, that’s one of the reasons she keeps him off her social media. People hate her enough as it is without her giving them more ammunition). It’s a no-win situation for them now. His team will either push harder to change the minds of those who think they don't look like a couple in love, doubling down, or they'll just let them do the bare minimum till they break up.
there are just too many things that could be deterministic or circumstantial to consider, split apart, and examine that i just end up thinking, “wow, they’re fucked either way.” so i don’t really dwell on it unless something brings it up. after a while it starts to feel like pulling at threads that don’t go anywhere, only to circle back to the same conclusion again and again: emotionally dead bond. but that’s not mine to live through, and therefore not mine to stress about tbh

It's crazy how many people don't treat celebrities like real people. They are just playthings that are there for their own enjoyment. They act like everything happening in front of them is part of a story. That's why the love drama so much. The reaction to everything that has been happening the past few weeks (honestly since the beginning of everything back in november/december) has only proven this more to me. They act like celebrities aren't real people with real opinions and feelings. It just feels a bit dehumanizing to me.

i did account for any emotional fallout between h and c in their combined spread: nothing dramatic, because there's nothing particularly dramatic happening between them in my reading, i guess? if i'm going to layer in more of my own personal interpretation, i also think c understands the situation too well to genuinely hold it against h. that feels much more in character for c than some resentment toward someone who's been struggling with something that's shaped his entire life. if there's frustration, it seems directed more at the situation—and maybe h's restrictions within it—than at h as a person. to me, that's a lot more consistent with c's cards than reading them as someone who’s hurt or experiencing heartbreak

Sorry, chiming in as someone who works in the space, it's better that his name is saturated now with his relationship (relatively positive pr regardless of anyone's personal feelings) and not the pap fight or photo controversies. We're too internal in the fandom for partiality. But this is actually a very good thing for him regarding the gp and anyone looking him up (AGAIN regardless of the active fandoms feelings). Everyone is forgetting this and giving themselves too much credit. Just a couple weeks ago the photo controversy was still first page under his "news" google heading. This is the lesser of two evils.
It allows the news cycle to move past these controversies faster. Plus, his name is simply good seo. He pulls clicks. Especially when he's already a hotter topic from the pap fight. Some people are forgetting, like those paps said, he (and connor) "sell!" What happens is, when you pull numbers online, more articles are written about you just for breathing. No, those bromance hudcon articles are not planted. They're written bc people are hungry to click on them. Especially when either are trending. It's easy ad money and clicks. I've literally done and written similar things myself.
