Hands moved to his shoulders for balance as he transferred her. Estelle knew he was strong, but the way he so easily picked her up had her face searing with heat. He made her feel like a doll, light weight and his toy to play with.

The air of the room hit the space between her legs, her wetness giving it a cold feeling. Knees closed on reflex to hide the most intimate part of herself. Even with her dress on, the scars on her inner thighs would have been exposed to him and she wasn't quite sure she was ready for him to see all of her.

"I..." Fingers twisted in the sheets below her. She wanted it, her body and her instincts begged for it, but her brain made her hesitate.

If he did notice the scars, he wasn't commenting on them, or would he judge. After all, he had plenty of his own scars. Cassian wouldn't force her if she wasn't comfortable yet. He moved, kissing her again, propping himself up with one arm. His free hand rested on her waist for the brief moment they kissed.

He wanted to go at her pace, despite the want that burned inside of him. "If you want me to touch you, you need to relax a little." He whispered in her ear, letting his fingers ghost down from her waist and along her thigh.

A flutter between her legs and a gush of wetness. Estelle could feel the heat of her face, spreading down to her chest. Lips parted and her tongue peeked out to wet them. She kept her gaze on his chest, his broad chest and strong arms that made her feel so dainty. She couldn't help but wonder how she ended up here with him.

"I'm sorry," she murmured. Knees inched apart to allow him to touch, but the tension didn't leave her muscles. "Just - Please be gentle?"

a soft chuckle sounded in the tiefling's chest as his lady love's lips planted squarely on the space above his chin. it truly never ceased to amaze him just how small she was in comparison to him, when her strength and courage far exceeded that of anyone he'd ever met — including that of his fellow hellriders. indeed, to zevlor, estelle was larger-than-life, a woman deserving of great respect and admiration. there were still days, even this far along into their courtship, when he could scarcely believe she had chosen him.

"you have to say that, my love, and dare i say you're biased?" grinning, he tipped his head downwards to give her a proper kiss. "though i shall always be eternally grateful for your belief in me, and your determination to love me despite said fading charms." another stolen kiss, and then a muscled arm wrapped 'round her waist. "now, what's on the agenda for today, hm?"

Blue eyes rolled, but a smile traced her lips with each kiss. "You act as if I'm bound by a contract." Her hand rested against his cheek, the pad of her thumb smoothing over his sharp features. "My love, you must understand: loving you is as easy as breathing. It is not something I do with purpose, no, instead it is something that comes so naturally to me."

Fingertips moved to his lips again, trying to smear away the lipstick she left behind. "There are a few things I must buy in the city. But after, I was thinking about a picnic by the stream."
