crazy that misogyny is considered like a "lesser" oppression (whatever that means) even though it's utterly inescapable on both the societal and personal front
There’s something to be said about that Andrea Dworkin quote and being unable to endure the reality of the oppression of the female sex

the most infuriating thing about being a radical feminist is that no matter how clearly and politely you state your beliefs and principles, other people will simply ignore what you wrote and make up their own ideas of what you said.
that's misogyny internalised or otherwise for ya
But have hope it's becoming increasingly popular among women especially in academic and crime prevention areas!

Every time [woman] behaves like a human being, she is declared to be identifying with the male.
Simone de Beauvoir, The Second Sex
Uh oh, somebody’s about to get canceled for terf rhetoric. 🙃
Please they are too busy misinterpreting the shit out of her “One is not born but rather becomes a woman” pretending it’s about TIMs
God people are so severely lacking in reading comprehension that they would do that to Simone de Beauvoir. Such a key figure in feminism when she defined women as 'the other' which is still foundational for feminism today
There's nothing more male than coming up with fantasy scenarios where it's cool for you to hit women. They want cis women to do it so it looks ok when they do it. Mind you, that's not how women usually behave, even when they loathe each other. The male aggression jumped out.
Their movement is based so strongly on violence against women. I can't think of any other civil rights movement that's done this.
"I also question why violence against women is being conflated with liberation politics. Women of colour don't bring baseball bats wrapped in barbed wire to anti-racist marches and talk about fucking up white supremacist women. Disabled women don't send images of guns and nooses captioned 'shut the fuck up' to enabled women. Working-class women don't send messages to middle-class women saying they hope we get raped or better yet killed, which is exactly what one self-proclaimed trans rights activist said to me when I defined lesbianism as same-sex attraction between women. But all of this behaviour has become standard practice in gender discourse".
