i'm going to be a hater for a minute here

i still cannot believe that sakura and sasuke end up together. it's literally insane to me. naruto and hinata seems a little lazy and underdeveloped (like literally all the couples except maybe shikamaru and temari), but whatever, i like hinata and i do think they're cute together. i despise how the ending turned all the women into basically housewives but, like, again not the point

sasuke and sakura feels like a hostage situation. literally any woman besides sakura would have felt more believable. it feels like best case scenario sasuke just looked around and went 'who will have my kid and put up with me being a deadbeat. the desperate fangirl who's feelings for me i've never respected? okay whatever' and it's also like. sakura girl stand up. you're not twelve anymore. literally name one thing about sasuke you actually like. what are we doing

it's also incredibly weird to me that they don't even commit to this lobotomy pairing. instead of them having a happy and functional marriage, sasuke is literally never there, not raising his kid, not being with his wife, nothing. like naruto and hinata's family portrait collage thing is their wedding day, their kids alone, and then a photo of them each with a kid. sasuke and sakura literally don't have a picture together nor does he have one with his daughter. naruto sees sasuke more often than his family does. if you're going to do this and be like 'yeah he loves her and is happy with her' then what's the rest of this. it's like. he says something positive about her and i'm like i don't believe you, you literally abandoned her. he says something negative about her and i'm like i don't believe you, you literally chose to marry her. who are you anymore. like come on

The way I interpreted the relationship between Sasuke and Sakura is more of a companionship rather than a marriage out of love. It makes more sense to think of them having mutual respect for each other and marrying only for the benefits of marriage (e.g. keeping the bloodline alive) without real romantic feelings involved. I do think there's an existing attraction between them, only because they have a lot of history and they would have never been able to marry at all otherwise, but it's evident that there is no love existing between them. Appreciation sure but not love. It's just not realistic to love someone and not want to see them whenever possible. Thats a natural part that comes with love and caring deeply about who you love. Especially considering the fact that Sasuke travels for months on end and still has no incentive to actually go see his wife when he's in town

imo stabbing through karin to get to danzo is really the only Objectively Significantly Morally Wrong thing sasuke does in the entire series. which is why it’s one of my absolute favorite sasuke moments. this whooooole time he’s done whatever he can to spare every life and even pushed to the brink mad with grief only kills when he’s forced to & after giving out several warnings.

but when it comes down to it. when he has the chance he’s been waiting his whole life for and it feels like everything is already over. that innocent person he genuinely considered a good ally and went out of his way to help? or his revenge? it’s not even close he was always gonna take the shot <\3

Woowww I was at International Comic Salon today and I left with so much stuff. Honestly I expected it to be a lot less interesting than it was, they had everything around comics. American comics, french comics, manwha, manhua, manga, anything that was drawing or designing, there was even video game design. It was so cool. Also I thought that only boring people would be there but I saw all types of people and SO many cosplays it was so fun. Tbh next time I'm coming in cosplay too.
