She got to end up with the love of her life, have a beautiful little family in the greatest city in the world (where she is already a success) and would only continue to move up in her career no matter what… She’s got her friends, family, a nanny and an equally successful partner who loves her and has grown and matured just as much as her over the years that they were “apart”.

THAT is the dream. She won.

to be honest, people need to stop acting as if lesbians have to be absolutely disgusted and repulsed by the idea of dating a man (or being sexually involved with a man) in order to be a lesbian.

this kind of mindset leads to women telling themselves “oh, i guess i could tolerate being with that man. if i had to be with him, i don’t think i would vehemently hate it.” and they literally think that means they can’t be a lesbian?? which is far from the truth, in fact, if you’re telling yourself things like this you’re most likely a lesbian.

attraction is supposed to feel good. not tolerable. if you say things like “if i had to be with him-” just stop yourself right there, because you don’t have to be with him! don’t ever settle for being with someone who you just tolerate. don’t ever settle for being with a man who makes you say “i can put up with him, i can stand him. i can endure being with him”

Drinking water

No longer making self deprecating jokes

Making sure to take time out of the day to relax and take a breather

Lighting candles

Counting ur breaths in and out if ur having a panic attack

Getting up and trying to do one thing even if u can’t do everything maybe brushing ur teeth but not having the energy to shower

I had a positive moment where I was like today is the day! I’m gona sign onto the Sanvers tag and I am going to see good news - Alex mentioning her, her showing up, a text, a call, a bonsai tree... today was not the day.

I think its more upsetting that it was a show-business thing that made Maggie go away. It’s like the characters had no control over their own lives (if we’re really getting into it). Their fate was in the hands of real humans - I almost wish it were some kind of animated show... then they could just draw Maggie back at the end of this season.

It would be amazing if this season had Alex on some bad dates and then BAM Maggie shows back up towards the end.

ALSO Alex will have grown her hair back a little by then... I get what they’re going for n I like that we can picture Alex from a “zaddy” perspective but... meh
