To answer your question: "where do u guys think would be fun for tme eve and vil to go on vacay :)" - Kyoto? A ryokan. Something lowkey touching base with Eve's culture (as long as that doesn't step on Eve's toes). Oooo. Lake Como in Italy. Good food and wine and BOATS.

Tme- what is your favorite state to write eve/villanelle in? Question prompted by Big Sad Eve. I love reading Eve reconstructing kills. But Nervous/Panic Eve is soooo good. And Vil losing control? Ughh

ooouhhhh......

for eve i love writing her being shitty and then how she reacts to other people's reactions: she's shitty to bill, he calls her out on it and hands her a croissant, she apologizes, everything's good. she's shitty to niko, niko doesn't get or deserve it and tries to suggest things that might help, eve refuses, he backs down. eve is shitty to vil and vil just turns it back onto eve, making her actually realize what she's doing and then forcing her to confront it. its fun seeing the interplay between eve's own actions and then her perception of how they come across to others. honourable mentions are of course eve being sick with want, eve being jealous and eve panicking.

i am of course huge on smug self assured confident vil but vil losing control is such a fun space to play in!! especially now that we're getting new ways of her losing control, even to her :) honourable mentions are vil being sick with want, vil being jealous and vil dancing between truth and lie

One thing about Obsession (2026) that I enjoyed was that it almost asks you to feel empathy for the entity possessing Nikki as well as the real one. Like, obviously the things she's doing are horrific and fucked up, but I think the scene where Bear is asking her to "just be Nikki!" and she eventually just desperatly screams "I can't be Nikki!" does a really good job of showcasing the entity's inner feelings. She's been created with the sole purpose of loving this guy more than anyone else but no matter how perfect it is or how much he claims to love her, its not her that he loves, its Nikki. And any time she stops pretending to be Nikki, he reacts (albeit rightfully) with disgust and horror. She can't be Nikki because Nikki would never love Bear, and so Bear will never love her.
