When you read stories or fanfics, do you tend to lean towards something that has more substance to the characters and their journey or a fun time for all... or both?

Hello definitely not my friend Artie, I like both tbh. A cute little fluff piece or a smutty oneshot is like necessary for my brain because I am also drawn to angst and my favorites being stuck in the blender. A good example of this is polluted marrow by PandaHero being one of my favorite fics ever, I return to it frequently but another favorite by the same author is this diminuendo only gets obscene. Both fics are wildly good but while marrow is an exercise in watching Max being the most broken she’s ever been and slowly being taken care of by Rachel and Chloe, diminuendo is a fluffy good time with jokes(Max saying she’s Rachel’s good luck puppy? Peak.)
