friendly reminder no one is worth destroying yourself over. doesn’t matter how happy they’ve made you, how long you’ve known them, how cute they are, how sweet they can be. if you’re constantly crying yourself to sleep over them and feeling invalidated and having to blame yourself or make up excuses for them, not worth it. not worth it now. not worth it in the long run.
a lot of my disillusionment with the trans "community" comes down to the fact that too many of you take "gender is different from sex" and go "ah ok, so instead of saying women are fragile and men are strong, I should say afabs are fragile and amabs are strong. to be Inclusive"
then you just treat gender like a surface level aesthetic draped over what someone "actually" is. really is indistinguishable from terf rhetoric
i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.
given the current climate this pride especially i feel i must mention that i love my trans friends, i stand with trans people in the fight against transphobic legislation and those who would enforce it, and this blog is not a good place for you to be if you do not vibe with that

my seraphim ocs (imagine this is written in pink glittery gel pen)
so starting out. obviously, we have father, but i kinda dgaf about him because he fucks off after the great celestial war anyway
twin princes, lucifer and michael
SO. sou. Lucifer's the younger one of the two, but he is (THEORETICALLY) more powerful by virtue of being father's favourite . He doesn't participate in wars with the devildom, instead, he's responsible for the celestial realm's internal affairs.
Michael (❤︎<-obligatory heart emoji) is older than lucifer. He's less magically gifted than his brother, but he makes up for it by having fighting skills and combat experience polished and refined for millions of years. He's the head general of the celestial realm military, and because of Father's favourable view of demon genocide, practically basically his favourite child.
✶
Jehoel (whose gender evades me to this day) is responisble for the CR's judicial system. They share Lucifer's responisibility of supervising the other seraphim, but they mostly do their own thing. They oversee legal disputes minor enough to not be brought in front of the seraphim council (<- i need to come up with a proper name for that). They're eerily calm and polite, though they share that ego and aloofness all of their siblings do. They're blinded during the great celestial war while fighting lucifer.
✶
Agiel is the angel of life, and has taken father's hobby of creating new species of various life forms as a job. He (alongside metatron, his twin) are some of the youngest seraph angels, which is reflected in his personality. He's bubbly and talkative and also a bit weird (not that all of these guys arent. my freaks. my skrunklies)
Zariel is another general! I've talked about her here
Samael is the previous angel of death. He's Azrael's predecessor and his creator (think Lucifer&Satan) who died (its complicated) during the great celestial war at the hands of lucifer. He's very calm, like Jehoel, but it's more like... as if he's high??? Like he's always never really paying attention to what's going on. He doesn't talk much, and when something does leave his mouths it's a 50/50 chance it's going to be deranged. Also, of the angels depicted here, he's the one most at odds with Father.
Simeon is. a canon character.
Metatron is, if i recall correctly, responsible for finances andd.. something else i dont remember XD she's much like her twin, cheery talkative and all, but with more socially acceptable intrests. Her personality changes drastically after the great celestial war, and she becomes more openly cruel, mute, and mature.
Uriel❤︎ is the resident freak. They're not particularly fond of their human form, and decided to ignore all colour surrounding it as a form of jokey malicious compliance- any item brought close enough to uriel's body will loose its colour while it remains in their vicinity. They also glow a bit. Uriel oversees the more rural parts of the celestial realm, and therefore does not reside in the realm's capital or major cities. It's aloof, never takes anything seriously, and loves teasing people (and sees most of them as nothing more than vessels for amusement). IDGAF monarch. Doesn't care about others breaking rules when it doesn't bother them.
Raphael's a canon character
Garbiel is the director of the Celestial Realms Grand Library, and after Simeon's removal from the seraphim council, also the overseer of the educiation in the CR.
I actually found some messages back from when i described him to... you, i think? anywayyyyyyyy::
He, as one can expect from a librarian, is a book worm. His personal collection is a conglomerate of rare, strange and obscure writings from all across worlds and time. Though, he only indulges his love for reading during moments he is alone, bored or waiting. Being present in the lives of the people around him, many of whom can only live a couple millenia at most (bcs theyre angels, he doesnt really speak to humans that arent sorcerers) is a... not better, but a smarter way of using his time
i think. he has a generally calm and pleasant demeanor, but he doesnt connect easily with people he doesnt already know. Hes a perfect partner for conversation about arts, history and sciences because of his millions of years of book worm activities. He is easy to annoy, if you know where to push.
anyway uhhhh when he's annoyed he's very like. miserable. dying internally kind of thing. bussinessman kneeling.jpeg guy
i'd say more but my sisters JUST told me that i urgently need to go to the bakery. it closes in 50 minutes. fuck my stupid baka life
The MHRA has advised healthcare professionals to stop supplying the affected batch of Sertraline 100mg and return all remaining stock to the
From what i've found it seems to be UK specific, but still worth a check. If you have Sertraline 100mg tablets, It might actually be Citalopram 40mg! Check the info on the box and on the blister strip containing the tablets.

“Mrs R” was the pseudonym of Phyllis Shafer, a Kansas City local who helped found the Phoenix Society for Individual Freedom in 1966, a full three years before Stonewall. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, she and her son Drew operated the Phoenix House, a safe haven for queer people in the city, and a hub of national queer activism. Drew passed away due to AIDS related complications in the 1980s, and his lover, Mickey Ray, spent the rest of his life fighting to keep his memory alive, largely contributing to the creation of the Gay and Lesbian Archive of Mid-America.
Years before the Stonewall uprising, Drew Shafer started Kansas City's first gay rights organization and published the first LGBTQ magazine
“We tend to view American history as this constant march toward progress, which is total crap,” he says. “You gotta fight for that stuff. And if you don't fight for that, you can fall backward. Like it's not just this linear history."
Good quote from the article which may be relevant right now.
Chainsaw Man fans, in wake of the recent ending, consider:
Gun Devil attack still happens in the post-reset timeline, prompting Aki to join Public Safety and be trained up under Kishibe’s wing.
About a year into his tenure, in 1995, Makima dies for unknown reasons, reincarnating early as Nayuta. Kishibe is sent to acquire the new Control Devil for Public Safety. He safely acquires Nayuta from China and brings her back to Japan, where she is appointed to a senior position in Public Safety.
There’s just one problem. Nayuta is a child. Not only that, she is a devil child. Two reasons she absolutely needs a human, adult supervisor. The government absolutely cannot be trusted with this job. Kishibe recognizes this, but he also recognizes that his alcoholic thrill-junkie old ass is unfit for the job, nor is he interested in adjusting his lifestyle to accommodate raising a child.
Who IS fit for the job?
Well, there is a surprisingly normal and responsible young man he took under his wing around a year ago who'd be perfect.
So, Kishibe hits up Aki, and offers him a deal. Aki gets a massive promotion, and with it, the implied benefit of being first to recieve any news on the Gun Devil. In exchange, Aki is to be the Control Devil's guardian.
the “sexy lamp test” but for disabled folks: if you can replace your disabled character with a beloved pet dog that needs an expensive surgery to survive then you have to throw out your manuscript
I am into female crime lately (not practicing) and Satan being a beautiful blond girl representing rage and wrath just sounds right to me (do not romanticize any murderers please)
It was kinda difficult to make him look like an actual female character, not just Satan with long hair but I think it looks pretty good
Hey, you think they're aware a lot of victims of Imperialism had Imperialist beliefs (like, idk, homophobia, transphobia, sexism) forced on them by colonial forces?
Knowing that trans women of color started the movement in the united states and were literally immediately erased and excluded from what they started is the most deeply jading knowledge.
It is the original sin of the so-called queer community and it damns it from the cradle.
Without Stonewall, without the efforts of Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, the LGBTQ Community wouldn’t be where it is today. Don’t forget the roots, don’t forget the catalyst.
and then TERFs wanna be like, “hmm well the LGBT community existed before Stonewall!”
but like…Becky, of course LGBTQ+ people existed before Stonewall. We’ve all existed since the beginning of time. But the movement got a shock to its senses, a jump-start, a rocket-into-space when that glass shattered via Marsha P. Johnson, and when Sylvia Rivera was up on-stage protesting guess who was on the sidelines heckling her?
The same fuckers who won’t ever reblog or acknowledge this
My apologies to the original poster as I photo captured this post to add to the thread-I reposted this last year for pride and expect to repost it every year I have left-it’s our history people.
Marsha P. Johnson allegedly died of suicide in 1992, and her death was never investigated. Even I, a mere prole, could catch the “she was murdered” vibes from the circumstances surrounding the discovery of her body.
Without a trans black woman, LGBT+ rights would not exist. Never forget. Never “pay it no mind”.
