I have a really stupid hc that The Actor tries to include Y/N in all his stories but sometimes they refuse and that’s why we have non-y/n included stories. That why most of these end in tragedy or at least they’re put through the horrors because The Actor is throwing a fit that his bookie doesn’t want to rp with him

There is something so fundamentally beautiful about the similarities between in space and iron lung.

I think through all of them noise of in space people forget that it is a tale about humanity, everyone around you is making choices just as you are. Everyone is fighting to do the right thing.

And I think there's a lot to say about how similar the captain and Simon are. Two people blamed for a catastrophic event when they're just as innocent as anyone else. The captain is blamed for the end of the universe, even though they don't have a clue of what's going on. Simon is blamed for the destruction of filament station, and even in his last moment where nothing truly matters anymore, he claims to be innocent.

They're almost like opposing tales, one ends in tragedy, and the other also ends in tragedy until you fix it- until you take that moment to hold on. We can argue all day if actor Mark is engineer, Mark and what that means for the overall plot and story. But what mark represents is hope. And by holding onto him. You hold onto hope.

We are both alone. We are both selfish. We just want to live. And in our last moments, we will reach for humanity and hope for the best. Hope that our death and life will mean more than nothing. That something will change.

Something i find verrry very interesting about Actor Mark and the stories that are being told is that he always ends up either shot in the middle of the chest, or with the option to shoot him.

And these are MAJOR parts of the story. With ISWM and AHWM both being vital to the endings of said stories. With ADWM you can make a stretch that the option IS monumental since it leads to Mark or Darks ending.

Take note of where exactly Mark is shot, always in the center of the chest... just like a CERTAIN SOMEONE

I have a very VERY specific headcannon that since the DA is so shattered that, even without the realization of Mark, that the manor has put them into the stories simply because the manor and the DA are two entities that can no longer be separated and only once Mark realizes this do we get stories like ISWM, ADWM, AHWM
