I think Hualian’s confession was perfect because basically everything Hua Cheng did in regards to Xie Lian was planned and orchestrated. He was always aware of how he presented himself Infront of his gege, but in that moment he wasn’t prepared, he was too aware of how he was presenting himself to the point where he was openly vulnerable. That’s what makes it perfectly. Hua Cheng is always sincere, but he was most sincere in his moment of vulnerability.
