what is this. ….why is it
she’s giving octopus. she’s giving ring of keys. she’s giving dryer lint trap contents.
why do m1Ls have such tight asses??? Someone needs to invent poppers for yarn smh
GUESS WHO HAD TO START OVER BECAUSE THEY WERE KNITTING (multiple rounds) WITH THE YARN TAIL

she's a little wonky but i'll take it. i'm trying to slowly get over my fear of stranded colorwork, and it turns out that frequently switching colors without breaking yarns + slipped stitches is a great way to simulate scw without the big scaries.
i'm looking forward to getting a visit from the circular needle fairy--it still sometimes feels like i'm shibariing five sticks. unfortunately my dumb ass ordered a 5" rather than 3" interchangeable tip set during the pandemic, and my shortest circular cable is 16", so these dpns are going to get FULL before i can make the switch.😅
onward!
look at her!!!!! :33333
Knitting horror story: you see the end of your skein from the corner of your eye and you have three rows left for your project
Hey all!! I want to do some commissions.
Scarves, table runners, pot holders, and lap blankets are included in the following stitches:
-Extended moss stitch
-alpine stitch
-infinity scarf Chevron pattern (scarves only)
-regular Chevron pattern
-v-sitch
-jasmine flower pattern
-tunisian purl stitch
You can pick what colors you'd like (pictures sent of color swatches would be helpful so I could get similar colors from the store). Simple acrylic yarn and/or polyester would be used, to keep the cost minimal.
I would quote the cost of the yarn and then the cost of labor, about $7/hour for scarves and pot holders, and $9/hour for table runners and lap blankets. That quote would depend on the pattern chosen, and would be between 3-12 hours depending on the size of the item.
Please be aware of my prices before requesting/messaging.
You can either DM me, or send me an email: [email protected]

Posting the final product one more time because I’m so proud of it! Taught myself crochet this summer with YouTube, then spent all of this fall making Persian Tiles during my down time at work (there’s a lot). Sized it up from an afghan to a queen size because 1) go big or go home 2) worsted weight acrylic yarn is dead cheap. Learned a lot! Also talked to so many people who saw me working on it and told me their own stories about crochet- old projects of their own that fell to the wayside, the blanket their grandma made. I got inspired to make this after I saw the pattern online, then spotted a finished one at the fair in the crafts barn. Felt like full circle when someone else told me they felt inspired to pick the craft back up!

Reversible sweater!! Is DONE!!!
Should I add cuffs and a ribbing on the bottom??
FINALLY able to stitch this thing together! It's so funky!
That's just a normal hook for stitching everything together, though it's just resting on the fabric, it does look like it's sticking through haha!
The perspective in the photo totally made it look like you were using a Tunisian hook to stitch with and had had to stick it through the other layers just to use the end which seemed so inconvenient and funny! Your stitching is incredibly even and smooth btw, it looks absolutely perfect for a garment!
Thank you!! I've worked really hard on keeping it consistent, I'll be stitching on the collar tonight and then ironing it! Debating whether or not to add cuffs on the sleeves but we will see!
