SUMMARY
luna was born and raised in sunny los angeles, ca to emily and peter steele. her father is really wealthy so that means he has many enemies. she was the oldest of her family so she was obligated to look after her younger siblings. luna was always close to both her parents but after her father gave her ultimatum when it came to dating an older guy when she was in high school and ever since then she has always acted out in rebellion against her father’s wishes. she has always been his “daddy’s little girl” her whole childhood so once she got old enough to do things for herself she did them despite her father.
luna’s younger sister vivian was taken from her when she was only 10 years old. vivian was a victim of a hit and run accident.
years after her sister’s death, luna started to smoke weed and drink to ease the pain of her loss.
after her parents caught her stumbling late one night ( the anniversary of her sister’s death ) her parents sent her to rehab
luna was in rehab for a good two years before getting 100% clean. occasionally she does smoke and drink in social settings but she has it under control

the bar was super busy and the boy was making sure they had enough stock of everything to get them through the shift. carter was kneeling down checking all the bottles they had left and how many clean glasses were on the shelves. they needed more clean glasses, with the rate of the guests they would be out before they knew it. the boy looked over at luna. “hey, can you check that dishwasher to see if its almost done? cause we need more glasses” he said looking at other. “cause otherwise im gonna need to go borrow some”

Seeing that the bar was out of clean glasses wasn’t an uncommon thing. Kneeling down she looked at the dishwasher and noticed the timer was done. ❝Yeah they have been done for a while. I already unloaded them and restocked the shelves. ❞ 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 laughed at her co-worker, looking at her empty glass in her hand.
“its okay. just don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable you know” he said looking at her. “but i’m sure you can find someone else more than willing to cuddle?” he asked
❝ I’m sure I can get someone to cuddle with me eventually. I’m not gonna force someone to cuddle with me. I’m not a monster. ❞ 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 laughed.

honestly she had no idea who had shown up most people she hadn’t really known but they were wishing her happy birthday and offering to buy her a drink or two and she wasn’t one to say no then and there. as she broke from the crowd she was with she saw a familiar face from the hotel and she couldn’t help but head over to the other, “hey! thank you for coming i hope you enjoy the party.”
❝ I could never miss your birthday, hun! I consider you a good friend after all. Thank you for inviting me again! ❞ 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 replied to the blonde as she placed her gift on the table designated for the gifts. ❝ I really hope you love my gift. ❞ 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 added before she made her way over to the open bar for a drink. ❝ What’re you drinking? ❞ 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 asked the blonde.
“as long as you promise not to hog all of the blanket,” she mused, padding over to take a seat besides luna, unwrapping herself from the blanket draped cozily around her shoulders. “scooch.”
❝ I swear I’m not a blanket hog, I like to share. ❞ 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 spoke as she wrapped herself in the other half of the blanket.
“Y’know, I’ve only been here for a couple of days, and you already want to get cozy. Buy me a drink first.” Juliana smirked, and threw herself on the couch cushion next to Luna. “But in all seriousness, what do you do during a snowstorm? The most I’ve seen is a good couple of inches of snow.”
❝ You’re speaking my kinda language, girl. I have plenty of drinks here with me if you want one or two? ❞ 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 looked up from her drink as she spoke to the other.
“sign me the heck up. it’s so cold in here, if you’ll share your body heat, i will cuddle you all night.” kinsey was wrapped in a blanket, hugging it as tightly to her body as she could. any exposed skin was starting to turn pink. she was the kind of person who was always cold even when they had heat so right now, she was basically an icicle.
❝ I would love to. Maybe we could watch something on Netflix?? Sorry I don’t really know what to say to this, exactly. ❞ 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐀 spoke before taking another sip of her drink, looking back up at the blonde.
