Burner phones may be illegal, getting a new phone/owning a phone may require an id to enable the phone service. Claims to help lower/stop robo calls. Yet this is similar to the kosa laws requiring an id and all. It is gonna be obviously more dangerous to the people. Please contact your reps and senators and tell your parents, extended family, and neighbors to do the same and have them be against these laws that uses surveillance under the lies of safety.

Also gonna put this here too for good measure. This is about the tv giants of the u.k. wanting to put their mainstream tv propaganda in the forefront now matter how many times you tell yt to stop showing them to you. Deadline is August 31st. So the Senate Version of KOSA passed the Senate Commerce Committee on Aug 5th, meaning that there is two different KOSA bills that will be voted on in September (no set date yet) when the Senate is back in Office. The next session, they will vote on the Kids Act (the 14 internet bill package that include KOSA) and the Senate’s KOSA.

Please call your Senators about these bills, and tell them to oppose these bills. Call, email, fax everyday to bring attention to how this is STRONGLY unfavored by constituents. While I’m not 100% sure, I did see some vids that the kids acts is not favored by the senate.

OmarBigSister has a beacons (linktree) in their bio that will help with calling your local senators, as well as email. If you want to leave a voicemail for those that are nervous about someone picking up, call after 8pm (that’s what I do). Google doc provides a script that you can use. They have information on KOSA.

Hey. Minors following me. Internet safety is key!! NEVER include these in your bio/byf:

Medical diagnoses - this is nobody's business but yours. You don't owe anyone an explanation for why you are the way that you are

Trauma - same reason as above

Triggers - people can use these against you! Don't give people tools to hurt you. No one has to know what tags you block. Just block tags to stay safe!

Age - age is okay for adults to include but is iffy when you're a teen. Predators want this information, don't give people more than they need. Just state that you're a minor, that's all that anyone needs to know.

In general: stay safe. If you're not comfortable with every stranger out there having access to this information, you shouldn't post it on the internet.

Play devil's advocate and ask yourself about what would happen if someone searched for your information with intent to hurt you. You do NOT owe anyone an explanation!

It's never done that before so I looked it up and turns out Roku TVs have added all sorts of creepy things in the privacy section since I last checked.

PSA - Do not buy an LG smart TV. They just added a line to their terms of use that it's the user's responsibility to inform any guests in their house that by entering they consent to be recorded, in order to comply with wiretapping laws. That thing is literally recording you.

You can find tutorials online telling you how to open that thing up and physically remove the mic and wifi module. Frankly I don't trust anything less.

To do so you must go to: https://www.twitch.tv/settings/security

And then scroll all the way down near the bottom.

There you'll find the "Training for Generative Ai" setting, toggle it to OFF!

Be sure to keep sending messages to Twitch that you do NOT want this to exist.
