In retrospect, the naming conventions of Heartless make a lot more sense if you assume that it's Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy coming up with on the fly names for them based on their appearance.
Enemy that turns invisible? Well ya see we call those things "Invisibles", on account of the invsibility, of course. That enemy dressed up like a pirate? "Pirate". That big guy? "Large Body".

you have the kidney/liver backwards. advil and other nsaids cause kidney damage and tylenol causes liver damage

To be specific [spoiler warning for Wake Up Dead Man] there is a scene in the rain, the priest will slip on mud, run into the woods, and a fist will knock him out. Close your eyes immediately when you see the fist. Don't open again until you start hearing conversations.

AO3 is an archive, not social media. It's not 'creepy' or 'weird' to comment on an AO3 author's older fics.
It's no different than going into a library and working your way through your favourite trad-published author's back catalogue of books.
As an AO3 author, seeing a comment on a fic that dropped off the front pages of a tag search months (or even years) ago is like thinking everyone has forgotten your birthday and then walking into your house to find a surprise party waiting for you.
Someone went through and kudos’d 25 or so fics of mine, and they didn’t leave a comment so I have no idea what they were reading or who it was. But I’m still so very grateful to them!!! Thank you, mystery reader!
"Punishment works!!!" We're drowning in three to four generations of people so pants-shittingly terrified of ever being wrong that half of everyone has constructed a worldview wherein they never even consider the possibility that they could be wrong and the other half behaves like one wrong move will make anything or anyone explode violently into a million irreperable pieces. I don't think it works guys
I know this might be a bold take but maybe teaching everyone from a young age that ever making a mistake will be met with unimaginable pain and misery doesn't actually encourage learning or correct behavior. If anything it creates a sense of terror so powerful it completely suffocates curiosity and exploration, thus leading to people knowing absolutely nothing but whatever is brought directly to them, which is a big problem in a world where information is so tightly controlled that a very small number of very powerful people basically have complete power over what people see and hear on a day-to-day basis when not actively seeking new and rigorously verified information from diverse and trustworthy sources.
if any of this sounds like you, start by looking up the definition of words you've heard and are pretty sure you know what they mean, but haven't actually double-checked for yourself. Just like, whenever it occurs to you. Great first step
This post goes out to the "we need to bring back bullying" crowd. Just because you aren't hitting someone physically doesn't mean you aren't being punitive. Maybe it isn't actually healthy to believe it's necessary to harass and humiliate anyone who makes you upset or uncomfortable. That sounds like a you problem actually.
Anyways, breaking the cycle of abuse starts with you and how you treat yourself. You have to give yourself grace and room for error or you'll never be able to cultivate a healthier mindset than your trauma left you with. It's not easy, but you have to trust yourself that whatever seems kinder than however you usually treat yourself is probably a good enough start. Doesn't need to be perfect, doesn't need to be The Correct Answer, just needs to be a step in the right direction, y'know? We'll figure out the details along the way.
I got promoted at a past job and was put in charge of ordering our inventory. And I was TERRIFIED to have that responsibility. "How do I know what to order? What if I order the wrong thing? What if I don't order something we need in time? What if I cost us hundreds of dollars?"
And the woman training me gave me the best advice I've ever gotten:
"There's no mistake you can make that can't be fixed."
I won't say it erased all my anxiety, but it allowed me to breathe. She gave me space to learn and try and explore and make mistakes and then learn how to fix them.
The only so-called punishment I ever received when I inevitably missed something was having to fix the mistake. Which isn't so much a punishment as just a logical outcome.
Now, if I'd been worried about punishment, I probably would have made even more mistakes. Because that kind of constant anxiety wears you down and makes it easy to miss stuff.
So, remember. Whatever mistake you make, you can fix it.
