If your profile picture is you, which i assume. YOU LOOK SUPERCOOL AND I BET YOURE A SPACE QUEEN
aw shucks you’re too sweet! it is me, a couple haircolors back, and part of it is pulled over my shaved side in that picture. I was going for a Sapphire from Steven Universe feel for that particular selfie, so gay space rock and former psychic advisor?

oh my goodness Ceridwen’s Cauldron smells like lucid dreaming!
When Abi Shenton treated herself to some products from Lush she got a little more than she bargained for. After stepping out of the bath and drying herself off, Shenton realised that her skin had b
Finding the nearest wall and banging my head against it. This…THIS IS WHYYYYY you ask a sales associate if you’re not sure about how to use something rather than just writing us off as annoying and fake. We’re trying to help!
My coworkers are so amazing. Seriously. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by smart, compassionate, strong, idealistic, progressive, hilarious, gorgeous individuals every shift that I get. To be a part of something so honest and diverse and encouraging is one of the best things that I've ever pursued/had happen to me. Being open can be very difficult, but it's getting easier, and I think I like it. 💞🌱🌌🌈
Oh my god the valentines stuff is coming out on January 15th and I’m FLIPPING OUT
I recommended Cosmetic Lad to my bestie/platonic soulmate of 20 years ( @kyrkovisan ) last week, she’s liking it so far, and I’m so happy!

There's glitter in my pajama pants???
Oh wow, friends. I don't have regular access to a tub, but when I do I go all out. I had a shift on black Friday and a LOT of lushies came out to visit! It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be, everyone was patient and kind even though the store was PACKED, and I was put through my paces. I was also cat-sitting for some friends, and they have a bathtub, so I took advantage of the situation and took a relaxing bath the day after black Friday! So White and Cinders bath bombs and a gold ring bubble bar was fantastic. Not very spectacular, visually, but not ugly! It looked like apple cider with gold glitter. I was enveloped by warm cinnamon, sweet vanilla, and crisp apple, with a few subtle florals to round out the scent. To complete the glamour, I saturated my hair with sweet and spicy h'suan wen hua, and washed with a cube of santa's belly shower jelly and old father time soap. I was a new, soft, clean person when I stepped out, and my hair still smells like pumpkin pie! An excellent winter bath! Candles and music/podcast/Netflix not necessary but they definitely add to the experience! 😜 👌🛁🍎☕🎀🎃🎄
Lush is such a happy place like you walk in and its just full of girls sniffing nice bath products and everyone there is looking to treat themselves or a loved one and the staff are happy and friendly because they get paid living wage and they love the store and are always covered in glitter and everything is always so pretty and smells good I honestly love lush so much
Hah, I'm on the bus and the person in front of me has a cup of coffee that smells exactly like Cup O' Coffee I almost wanna ask if they put agave and coriander in it
I was closing last night

Solstice Bath Cocktail
Being raised in a earth-centered spirituality, my holiday memories are probably slightly different from a majority of my peers. While spending time in the shop, I’ve been making mental notes of which bombs and bubblers evoke memories of my childhood and upbringing, and have now put together a cocktail!
Ingredients:
~
The Magic of Christmas reusable bubble wand
So White bath bomb
Snow Angel bath melt
~
Adding in a Cinders bath bomb would give a gorgeous note of spiced almond cookies (awesome Solstice snack!).
Adding in a Dashing Santa bath bomb would give it a mulled wine kind of scent.
Adding a Lord Of Misrule bath bomb would give it a glorious color and add a sweet and spicy scent of incense and candies being made intermingling.
Five Golden Rings bubble rings would add a sweet vanilla of the dessert table (the best place to hang out at any holiday celebration amirite?).
~
Good body washes would be Santa’s Belly shower jelly if you enjoy sweeter bathing experiences, Old Father Time soap if you want to emphasize the spicier scents, Needles and Pines shower jelly of you’re into the winter forest experience, and Lord Of Misrule shower cream for the best of all worlds!
These things put together remind me of hot cider and rich foods after hours of storytelling and drumming and dancing, spiritually charged revelry and relaxation. Hands and hearts warmed in the coldest time, and celebration of cycles, nature, and light returning.
I have no idea how to feel right now
so, i put on my ultrabland last night, after a 15+ hour day doing various things and working, and i decide i wanted to put on a mask and rinse it off in the shower. usually towel off my ultrabland in the shower, so that i can do warm/cool water drenches on clean skin, but i had to take it off before i put on my FOG+mask this time. on an exhausted whim, i turned on my hairdryer on low and (from a distance and NOT lingering in the same area, you don’t want too much heat on the skin, especially dry heat) warmed up the ultrabland that was already on my face. i massaged in the warmed ultrabland for a second more, and then used a paper towel to wipe it all away. the ultrabland came away a completely different color than when i put it on. it was incredible and disgusting, like the first time you turn over a rock as a child and you can see all the oogly things moving. i knew how much junk skin could make and collect, obviously, but i thought that my morning and night cleaning schedule was keeping me cleaner than that. my naive existence was at once both restored and taken away in a moment.
as an aside, i wear pretty minimal make-up, and this particular day, i was only wearing eyeliner and lip-stain, which were also pretty decently removed.
tldr: i feel both clean and gross at the same time thanks to ultrabland!
