This is called stimming. I am turning down the sensory imput from my environment so i can focus.

It just means something unexpected has happened or my routine has been interrupted.

I process the world around me a little differently.

I am a different type of human.

People assigned female at birth will usually not be diagnosed until later in life because they can “act the part”, and pass as a neurotypical person. Even after diagnosis many of these people will just come off as “quirky” or “odd” and may not even need to disclose that diagnosis in a work or school environment. That doesnt mean we don’t still put in a tremendous amount of effort to have daily lives outside of our homes.
