He knew that this was the consequences of his own choices but its not like he had any say in working with lady bone demon. She and the mayor both had found him and forced him into compliance and he knew very well what would've happened to him if he didn't. Desperation to escape and getting out of the situation he had been in had fueled his actions. Ultimately leaving him with an inextinguishable flame that he never asked for, all while having to figure out how to control it on his own.
"I'd rather you not get hurt while I am still learning to control this by myself. My anger and quarrel is with Wukong and I will make him pay for it in due time."

From what he's heard none of the other wukongs had been good to macaque, even the one that had not killed Macaque wasn't very good.
"But yeah whatever you did, you screwed up pretty bad but from what I heard it's nothing new."
"I was a bad friend, If you could even call me that. I-- I belittled him, a lot. And-- I really really regret it. He didn't deserve any of it. I was just... plain rude to him. For no reason at all."

Another Wukong huh? His body was tense, ready for a fight but he would at least try to be civil about this first.
"You are in my house that I am currently occupying, guessing this is your first time seeing a different place. You got a name I can call you?"
"It means I am putting my trust in you so again, not something that I do lightly." He barely knew them but something about UV made him feel more at ease. Maybe it was because he didn't freak out when seeing what happened to him, not being thought of like a ticking time bomb.
"That's how I feel about it too. Of course I don't mind advice and I wont say nothing if something's happening but at the end of the day its the person's choice of how to handle things in their own life."
It felt nice to be so calm, not on eggshells all the time. Umbra really was a person he liked being around.

"I know but sometimes it's just nice to keep it hidden. to pretend even for a short time that things didn't fall apart." And because it was a way to protect himself too, he didn't just trust easy after everything so if people wanted to see him then theyd have to prove he could trust them.

His hands pushing strands of white hair out of his face Umbra finished reading what UV had written and smiled softly. "I got more but not too sure how you'd feel about seeing them. Thankfully i still got both my eyes but it can be hard to look at myself sometimes.."
He finally pulled off the cloak covering his head.
' If you wouldn't mind, I would like to see. I think you're interesting to look at. '
"Alright if you're sure about it but just let me know if you want me to stop." If UV wanted to see then he'd show him, Pulling his shirt off to show the large scar on his chest where it looked like he had been struck through by a certain staff. Still having white fur on the right side of his body alongside smaller scars, his hands having their own share of scratches and scars from fights he had been in over the years.
"Well here it is UV, what do you think of it?"
"I couldn't watch you do it anymore! We could've stopped then, Could've had that happy, peaceful life you talked about before that fight! I wanted nothing more then to keep being there, to stay and have that ending but I couldn't watch my friend keep running off for more power and more immortality!"
"So let me ask you this Wukong, Did I matter that little to you where you could forget about me? The promise to have that life and then everything fall apart because you didn't listen to me?" He could feel the fire growing higher with his emotions but even now he was trying to not lose control. He just wanted to make Wukong suffer, not actually kill him.
The heat was starting to singe his fur. Wukong took a step back, but didn't back down. "I paid for my mistakes in full by getting beaten and trapped, no thanks to you! Boo-hoo, you didn't get your happy ending with the guy you left to rot!"
"A happy, peaceful life?" Wukong shook his head. "That's rich! As if you gave a single damn about what happened to me! It's all about how things didn't work out for you! You SELFISH--"
Wukong wouldn't get to finish that sentence as Umbra's emotions had finally bubbled over in a scream, the samadhi fire bursting from his body and surrounding not just him but the area that the two monkeys were standing in.
"....what happened to us?Why did things have to end up being like this?" The question even surprising Umbra as the words tumbled from his lips, feeling the heat and flames swirling around him. So many questions and whys but he may not get an answer for them.
