"When have you ever regretted anything to begin with?" Mitchie questioned through a raised brow, smiling down at how easily Lacy settled between them. "This isn't any less random than you adopting a raccoon, or paying an artist to draw, drew with big naturals and then framing it on his door, and then dubbing his apartment casa de boobs."

another sip taken, gaze locked in with mitchie as his tongue darts out, enjoying the remains of the drink seeped into his bottom lip. “ type? as in brand or flavour? ” he asks, voice low and at ease as the people around them shuffle with purpose, hands grasping at bottles, the clinks can be heard throughout the kitchen. he doesn’t pull back, eyes looking downward to where mitchie’s finger is looped easily where his belt is meant to be. steps are lazy but followed through, stopping directly in front of the other. “ i never said you were fragile, ” flirting had always been fun, watching the blush take over the others features or witnessing him scramble to find the right words. “ you’re like forbidden fruit, ” he’s closer than he’s ever been, closing the distance and igniting the fire with gasoline. eyes move slowly to take in every freckle on the others face, lazy grin on his own lips. “ makes you dangerous to play with. ” words are whispered, own lips grazing against mitchie’s ear, hot breath felt as theres a slow exhale, drink forgotten about but still dangling from fingertips.

To everyone who'd spare a glance, they could easily tell that Mitchie was enthused. Captivated by the man in front of him in such a way that to him, they were practically in an empty room. No music, no bodies swaying back and forth, no idle chatter, just him. He watches as the liquid is so easily sipped, a bright lacquered sheen on Elijah's lips, and he smiles. "Flavor, there's a mix there." A few requests bring Mitchie out of his trance as he happily preps drinks for more people, sighing softly as his eyes come back to Elijah. Once he pulled him in, he realized this is the closest they've ever been, faces inches away from each other as Mitchie is forced to tilt his head upwards, watching as the lights cast shadows under Elijah's lashes. "Good, cause I'm quite tough actually, you should see my game face, really menacing," Mitchie mused as he scrunched up his features slightly, trying to look intimidating. The second Elijah called him a forbidden fruit, his breath caught in his throat as his blush deepened. "Dangerous, huh? How long have you been tempted?" Mitchie questioned as he leaned upwards, kissing Elijah's forehead before smiling. "Can't give it to you just yet, you'll just end up wanting more,"

maddie giggles at his mild frustration as he tugs him closer. "So um, now that rehearsal is over, I do need you for that thing I was sorta kind of telling you about, and you were great, be nicer to my friend Jarrah, okay."

it had been a while since shane had a visitor in his dorm, his roommate almost always hogging their room, so it was a bit of a mess. nonetheless, he was quick to clean it up and put a bag of popcorn in the microwave for both him and the other to enjoy. when he heard a knock on the door, he headed over and opened it with a warm smile. "welcome to my humble abode."

"Shaney," Mitchie giggled rolling his eyes at the man as he took his hand. "I've seen your room multiple times, you know you don't have to tidy up for me, but...it's still very sweet that you did," he smiled. "So fast and furious huh? Like I said the first two great, after that it's just weird because why are we using cars to save the world when they're not even transformers, and why is the answer to everything, family?" Mitchie's little rampant energy could not be subdued as he made himself at home and went into Shane's closet, changing clothes to put on one of Shane's hoodies. The ultimate comfort. "Okay, I'm ready," he mused as he plopped himself on the couch.

gianna was having lunch with her sorority sisters for today because the president thought she had been spending way too much time at the hockey house and has forgotten her treasurer duties. truth be told, she hadn't forgotten her duties at all and simply couldn't handle mackenzie's terrible cooking. when her sorority sister asked how the food was, however, she was quick to give her a thumbs up. "it's actually so good." she lied, quickly throwing away the food into her napkin when they weren't looking. "i'm going to go.. study." she reassured the girls, grabbing her things before then making her way to the hockey house for the fifth time this week. "please tell me mitchie made something today." she practically begged the first person she saw, looking for something to eat. "i don't know if i can handle any more of mackenzie's sad attempts at making seafood paella, halen."

Halen had been used to living at the hockey house for so long he somewhat forgot who was actually a resident and who wasn't. Seeing Mitchie letting himself in and start making food for the team had been such a common occurrence that he sometimes forgot that Mitchie didn't live there. As soon as Gianna came through the door he smiled, laughing at her queries as he nodded. "You're in luck, the littlest chef actually did whip a whole buffet as per usual. He made a pasta bar with your choice of noodle, he made four homemade sauces, and your choice of protein or veggies, and he bought the fancy cheese you can put on top too. Even made tiramisu and bought fancy wine to go with it." Halen said as he showed her around Mitchie's setup. "Damn, Mackenzie's cooking is that bad? Has anyone told her or is she still living a fantasy of being able to cook? You think she's jealous of Mitchie and that's why she's so insistent?"

alex loved being with mitchie, even if they did have to sneak around due to alex being so scared to come out to everyone on campus still, it was exhilarating. waking up from his bed, he was quick to head into the kitchen and make some coffee for the other before then heading back to his bedroom. "good morning, sleepyhead."

mitchie knew that alex wasn't ready to come out to everybody, so he got used to being his dirty little secret. but alex was sweet and caring so he couldn't really be all that mad about being kept in the dark. "good morning, professor singh," mitchie teased as he happily accepted the cup of coffee from the other. "coffee in bed, and they said romance was dead."

It had been something as silly as a dare from one of the guys, and Halen, being Halen, couldn't back down. A skateboard trick down the long stairs at the main building was supposed to be easy, but one little slip and Halen's world went dark, and he could faintly hear his name being called out before the blur of lights consumed his entire view. When he came to, he was confused by the sudden change in his surroundings. Looking around, he saw Grier at the door, and he got a sudden wave of panic hit him. "Shit, Grier what the fuck happened? Why are you here? The Doctors didn't do any weird shit to me did they? Ah fuck, now I have a hospital bill. Um, thanks for being here but you don't have to, but it's sweet you lied to them and said we're family." @icethin

it's  the  first  time  he's  felt  any  sort of reluctance  in  going  over  to  mitchie's  place.  he had  meant  it  when  he  said  he  wasn't  hurt,  the  other  doesn't  owe  him  anything,  but  there's  still  a  weird  sort  of  vulnerability  in  admitting  that  he  hadn't  been  interested  in  seeing  anybody  else.  it's  a  little  embarrassing,  but  maybe  it's  the  kick  in  the  ass  he  needs  to  put  himself  out  there.  regardless,  he  finds  himself  at  mitchie's  door,  his  books  still  cradled  in  his  arms from heading straight from the library.  “  hey.  i  finished  quicker  than  i  thought.  ”

Ever since Griffin admitted he hadn't been seeing anybody else, a little sense of panic burrowed itself inside Mitchie's heart. The mere idea that he'd somehow hurt Griffin, sent him into a spiral as he cried into his pillow, chiding himself for not realizing sooner. All day, he'd been wearing Griffin's hoodie without realizing, the way it brought a small sense of comfort to him, his scent always lingering as he hugged himself. Once his doorbell rang, he ran to open the door, furiously wiping away at his puffy red eyes in an attempt to hide just how much he'd been crying, but to no avail. Mitchie didn't hesitate as he took Griffin's books and set them on the counter, turning to swiftly bury his features in his chest. "Before you ask, yes I'm okay."

“  do you typically play host at parties you aren't fully hosting?   ” it's a joke, the slight twitch of the corner of her lips was enough to prove that. having mitch around always provided a sense of safety; refusal to admit when help was needed, but grateful to have the option when needed. the level of responsibility astonishes her momentarily, taking in her surrounding to make the definite opinion that no one actively cared about their current alcohol intake levels. one would argue that was the point of a college party. “  curious on how one would react if given a fake alcoholic beverage.   ” a beat of pause. “  just be careful, last thing i want is someone to get pissed you're tossing them water instead of a can of beer.   ” which wouldn't surprise her if it happened. “  i feel fine, really. just overwhelming, why i tend to avoid these things.   ”

"only when they're thrown by people i love more than the world itself, i want them to enjoy their time and i can show them my love by ensuring everything is flawless. does that make me a type a friend? also it's a party thrown by men, i needed to take over before it was just keg stands and shirtless grunting," mitchie laughed, although he wouldn't have hated the second part, sans the grunting. he was better than no man when it came to appetizing his eyes. " they never care when they find out because what i give them as a substitute ensures that one they're safe and two for some reason people rarely get mad at me," he shrugged, not really knowing why that second thing rang as true as it did. "you are in the most crowded area, other parts of the house are slightly quieter and won't have you feel the intense bass from the speakers inside your chest, that makes me slightly nauseous at times."

elijah thrived off praise and compliments, especially the quiet ones that were hidden behind fluttering lashes, pregnant pauses, and flushed cheeks. he waits patiently, keeping some distance while watching the other work at the beverage. he never breaks eye contact, reaching for the drink and taking a long, slow sip. “  vodka?   ” although at this point in the evening, all alcohol would taste about the same. “  see, but i do and i'm trying to behave.   ”

mitchie despised the fact that in every encounter, every scenario, every moment, it was just them, elijah always had the upper hand. there had never been an instance where mitchie felt as if he was ever in control. for three years he'd fallen victim to that natural charm, and for three years he had done nothing about it except silently pine from the corner, watching as others so easily engaged while he just waited. "yes, but what type of vodka?" he questioned, falling back into the flow of the party. "why do you only seem to behave when it comes to me?" he said in slightly protest, pulling him closer by the belt loop of his pants. "i'm not as fragile as i look, and i'm not going to break just because you think i don't know the concept of having fun." he sighed, caressing his cheek softly before taking a sip of elijah's drink. "i'll let you figure that out on your own, go off and kiss the pretty girls that are so eagerly waiting for your attention."

Halen was huddled on the couch, hugging his pillow as if his life depended on it. His fingers worried on the frilled edge, trying to calm himself from his earlier panic. The sound of a door opening made his eyes shoot towards the entrance, and a silent groan soon followed as his eyes remained on Elijah. "I'm not in the mood, don't talk to me," he grumbled, stifling his words with his pillow as he worried on the edge a little more. "Brought you food from our usual joint, and no, it doesn't mean I'm talking to you, and I still resent the fact that you said I always sit on you, I don't. It's only your lap, not just you all the time,"

He was nonsensical to a fault, but he was a boy who always wore his heart on his sleeve, and try as he might, he could never truly hide if something was bothering him. Elijah's presence, even if he would never admit it, had the calming effect he had been aching for since he first thought he'd lost his pillow case.

"How was your day?" he mumbled, looking up slightly from his spot on the couch. Eyes still glassy and riddled with worry, but he was trying to let it subside. @ofjuv3nile

"Hey you, Nico with the yearning eyes," Halen hollered as he came up to his teammate. "Damn, you're hot, and your eyes are deep and mesmerizing. Anyway, do you mind being at the house around five, and letting Mitchie is cause he's cooking dinner for the team. I was supposed to be there, but something came up, and I don't think I'll make it back, and I don't wanna be the reason we all starve and are left without Mitchie's cuisine." @breakaw4y

"Freddie, what's a good present for a friend you're kinda sorta making out with, but it isn't anything serious, but it's also not nothing," Halen asked him as he kept tapping a finger on his temple, his energy erratic as he slowly paced back and forth. "Hey, Sav, saw you at the party, have fun?" Halen chirped as he rested his back against the wall. The cool white against his back as fluorescent lights hit the high points of his face, casting shadows under his lashes. "Also, how's your little girl? I saw you post her earlier today. Does she need anything, clothes, toys, anything?" He didn't have much, but when it came to kids, Halen's tenderness shone through, wanting nothing but the best for them. He just didn't want kids to have a crappy childhood like he did. @southernbclls

"Sammy, can I borrow your notes for class? I sorta wasn't paying attention cause I had to draw Drew as King Farquaad, so it was critical I had to finish my art. You understand that, right?" Halen said as he beamed at her, showing her his drawing, it wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't something that would be showcased in the Louvre. "Thought he should go as him for Halloween cause they're the same height." @puckbunnics

"Brooksie, how is my favorite muscle bound hockey player with precious curls, and yes, before you ask I do want something. Can I borrow your car for a bit?
