@lxxproxy
please wear sunscreen!!! I've seen "fuck the beauty industrial complex" posts about complicated skincare regimens and am 100% with them except sometimes they mention sunscreen and no. no. absolutely not. sunscreen is a wonderful supportive friend who wants to keep you safe, and you should let her do it. throw out all your other cosmetics and skincare products if you want, but keep your sunscreen. and if you're not wearing sunscreen, start wearing it!!!! this is not about terror of aging, this is not about every tiny imperfection our fucked-up culture has made you feel insecure about, this is about protecting yourself from skin cancer. wear the damn sunscreen.

How to Make Your Own Binder that Fits Well and Looks Good
A while back I was in need of some new binders and thought hey, I bet I can make one way cheaper than buying it from somewhere (especially cus some of the ones Iāve bought in the past didnāt really fit right). Except when I started looking for a binder patterns online, I was very surprised that I really⦠couldnāt find many that looked very nice lol. Most of them had really wrinkled necklines, or didn't bind well, or just overall looked weird. A lot of the patterns also required a serger, which I don't have.
So I just said fuck it and made my own pattern! And it ended up being relatively easy! And the binders fit REALLY WELL and are comfortable to wear, even for long periods. The neckline doesn't show under shirts with loose collars, and the bottom hem doesn't gap or stick out. Here's me wearing one:
(plus I was able to make myself 5 of them for a total of like ~$50.)
So I figured I could throw together a guide to help out anyone else who wanted to make their own binder but was dissatisfied with the patterns available!
Disclaimer: This tutorial is going to assume a baseline level of sewing experience, and also will require access to a sewing machine. It is not a complicated pattern, but it will most likely require some tweaking and adjustments after you make the first one. Donāt be afraid to make alterations to make it fit better!
This tutorial is for a gc2b-style half-tank binder. It could be altered to be a full-tank binder, but all instructions will be for the half-tank design.

I hate Nintendo Switch Online. I hate the lack of optimization. I hate the expensive subscription service. I hate the lack of games. I hate the limited time releases. I hate that it's never gonna have the level of content that the Wii virtual console had. I hate what capitalism has done to gaming.
This collection includes: All the GBA, GB and GBC games currently available on the Switch!!
+ And a few extra bonus!! Mostly from the same series'seses
Download here for free!!: https://www.mediafire.com/file/pzycxh6zu9b8drf/GBA_Online_PC.rar (405 MB Uncompressed)
They're all ready to be played in HD on PC. Just drag and drop the files on the included program
Target audience right here!! The joy of gaming and sharing it with others is the reason i post and i made this blog. Enjoy the Kirbyses very much, and do remember to support the official release whenever possible
i think the near-extinction of people making fun, deep and/or unique interactive text-based browser games, projects and stories is catastrophic to the internet. i'm talking pre-itch.io era, nothing against it.
there are a lot of fun ones listed here and here but for the most part, they were made years ago and are now a dying breed. i get why. there's no money in it. factoring in the cost of web hosting and servers, it probably costs money. it's just sad that it's a dying art form.
anyway, here's some of my favorite browser-based interactive projects and games, if you're into that kind of thing. 90% of them are on the lists that i linked above.
A Better World - create an alternate history timeline
Alter Ego - abandonware birth-to-death life simulator game
Seedship - text-based game about colonizing a new planet
Sandboxels or ThisIsSand - free-falling sand physics games
Little Alchemy 2 - combine various elements to make new ones
Infinite Craft - kind of the same as Little Alchemy
ZenGM - simulate sports
Tamajoji - browser-based tamagotchi
IFDB - interactive fiction database (text adventure games)
Written Realms - more text adventure games with a user interface
The Cafe & Diner - mystery game
The New Campaign Trail - US presidential campaign game
Money Simulator - simulate financial decisions
Genesis - text-based adventure/fantasy game
Level 13 - text-based science fiction adventure game
Miniconomy - player driven economy game
Checkbox Olympics - games involving clicking checkboxes
BrantSteele.net - game show and Hunger Games simulators
Murder Games - fight to the death simulator by Orteil
Cookie Clicker - different but felt weird not including it. by Orteil.
if you're ever thinking about making a niche project that only a select number of individuals will be nerdy enough to enjoy, keep in mind i've been playing some of these games off and on for 20~ years (Alter Ego, for example). quite literally a lifetime of replayability.
Do any of u have decent recipes that are like 5 ingredients (not including spices) and take 45 mins or less to prepare i gotta stop eating sandwiches for dinner
yeah hang on
ignore the title of this google doc because it's a long story but it's a really solid recipe for southwest chicken alfredo
this is a vegetarian potato curry recipe that's about 75% spices; once you get the potatoes in there you can really do whatever you want with it
this is literally just pasta, broccoli, and cheese babey and you can live off that shit for DAYS it makes such a big portion
bro this spinach/pesto/3 cheese flatbread is so fucking tasty bro
also you can make the flatbread yourself it's super quick!!
oh hey I'm eating this white chickpea chili right now, much like the curry it's mostly spices and you can do p much do whatever you want with it
don't let the name fool you these potatoes are delicious any time. not just breakfast.
this is slightly more than five ingredient when you add them together but if you have time and really wanna fuckin treat yourself I recommend these chicken strips + this cornbread + either these potatoes or these buttered veggies on the side.
These are my two favorite comfort foods. They're very easy to make and dont take long to cook.
Garlic butter rice
Orzo mac and cheese (comes out a little bit soupy)
this recipe for gogumabap (sweet potato and rice) saved my life when i couldn't eat hardly anything for a long time. the recipe itself calls for a heavy bottomed pot but you can absolutely use a rice cooker and put the rice and diced sweet potato in together and just let the machine do its thing
Protection Tips for Beginners
Someone asked me a question, and I see it asked a lot, so thought I'd share their question and my response! Hope this helps some of you!
Context: I recommended additional protections on top of a protection jar, as in my experience and knowledge protection jars aren't very powerful or all-encompassing (especially if they're closed), I don't even use them at this point
Anon: What protections are good? I have a few set up and plan on doing more but im always anxious of not having enough
My Reply: In my opinion, there's no such thing as too many protections, and there's lots of ways to protect yourself! It's best to layer, so you're on the right track.
What you want to focus on is:
- Protecting all of your bodies (emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, etc)
- Protecting your space(s)
- Protecting your item(s) - especially tools, like tarot decks
You also want to make sure you're very thorough with loopholes:
- Never invite, only state boundaries. (For example, some people say "I invite only peace" but this is bad! Because different energies or spirits can manipulate you into feeling peaceful, even if they're harmful to you. Not everything that feels good is a good thing, especially when it's too much of it, and imo i'd rather feel peace on my own and naturally rather than being influenced. Instead, you can tailor statements like "Any spirit with intentions to harm, manipulate, etc, me, is not welcome here and must immediately leave."
- Consider who you do and don't want. Spirits may be negative, neutral, or positive. I only allow positive, but some neutral (and even negative) are cool depending on what you want. Explore if this chart means anything to you and what it could mean in its entirety
Here is a post on protections for beginners, however it is NOT all-inclusive and you do need stronger things than some of these (and you gotta research these because like I said it's not all-inclusive).

The Forbidden Knowledge
THERE IS. a website. that takes 3D models with seams and pulls it apart to make a plushie pattern and informs you where things need to be edited or darts added for the best effect. and then it lets you scale it and print off your pattern. and I want to lose my MIND because I've lost steam halfway through so many plushie patterns in the mind numbing in betweens of unwrapping, copying all of the meshes down as pieces, transferring those, testing them, then finding obvious tweaks... like... this would eradicate 99% of my trial and error workflow for 3D models to plushies & MAYBE ILL FINALLY FINISH SCREAMTAIL...
so this website let's you:
import a model
create seams in browser
tells you how accurately the seams will recreate the model when sewn
let's you designate fur direction
let's you import markings so the pattern shows exactly where they go on the piece
let's you add little measurements on the model that are also visible on the pattern
let's you paint the model to play with fabric colors
let's you name each piece so it's easy to sort the pieces later
let's you scale it beside a human
then calculates how much of each type of fabric you need, BASED ON YOUR DESIRED SEAM ALLOWANCE..
and finally gives you the finished pattern with the detailed names and instructions it's transcribed from your notes
this is. beyond. this is BEYOND. and as far as I can see it's free???
... dude you could probably (mis)use this for armor & clothing patterns too
get your "plushie" pattern, remove the parts of the pattern that aren't clothing/armor...
it'd take some tailoring to make sure everything fits a person rather than a video game character, but
