It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

See, the thing that really gets me about this vagueposter's response, other than the obvious "truly the website of pissing on the poor", is that it's one thing to joke among friends about saying something you would never in a million years say unironically. If you want to honestly say that that's the context, then everyone involved should already understand that what makes the joke funny is specifically how wildly out of character it is for you. But it's a very, very different equation when the intended irony is not in the character break, but in the trans identity of the speaker.
If I (a trans woman) say to my wife (also a trans woman) that she should get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich, she knows that's not something I would actually say. The joke is not "haha misogyny funny", it's a pastiche of a stereotype so obviously out of character that the contrast is funny. Even to a hypothetical onlooker, it would probably be pretty obvious that part of the humor is a woman saying it, as a wink and a nod to shared oppression. But if we shift the scenario a bit and I say that to a random waitress, well now I'm just an asshole - she doesn't know me and has nothing to contrast it with, so the absolute best case scenario is she catches the "irony" in the gender of the speaker, and it's much more likely that me being trans would actually undermine that.
Now let's shift the scenario again. Let's say I'm a trans man, and I tell my transfem wife to go make me a sandwich. Even if it's a totally understood running joke between us, that has a totally different vibe, right? I've lost the irony of "a woman said it" and am relying entirely on the irony of it being out of character, and anyone else who sees the exchange is left wondering how serious I'm being. Now make it a random waitress again, and oops, suddenly she can no longer tell if it's ironic at all or if it's just unironically being misogynistic.
Believe me, I fully understand the appeal of dark humor. One of the best ways to cope with having experienced shitty things is often by joking about it - but that has to come with a serious, genuine look at how it affects the people around you. This isn't about hating trans men, or policing private interactions among friends. It's about reminding people to take a moment to look in their transfem friends' eyes and see whether she's actually laughing with you, or whether the light in her eyes dies a little more with every joke she awkwardly feigns a laugh at out of fear she'll lose one of the few friend groups she has. It's about reminding people that misogyny isn't funny, that it isn't somehow exclusive to cis men or even to men at all, and that irony is always a razor-thin line to walk.
