Alternative Version: The one above feels somewhat hopeful. The one below is meant to feel the opposite. In the Art Book for Inquisition, there is an alternate scene where, instead of freezing the Qunari forces into stone, Solas rips them apart and uses their blood to open and eluvian. The idea here is that Elanna sees this, rushes through the blood, and embraces Solas anyway. The blood on her feet symbolizes the blood of Solas' sins that now stains her. (AU: Lavellan joins Solas)
