This is the Beef Burger with an extra patty from the Beer and Burger Lounge in Richmond. two medium cooked patties, smoked bacon, beetroot relish, cheese, American mustard and ketchup on a brioche bun. I've honestly forgotten how good this place is! The burger was delicious and affordable grabbing the $15 lunch meal plus $3.50 for the extra patty. I know what you are all thinking.. Yes that is an onion ring on top. Plus The service is always on point 👌 Rating - 8.25/10

"No salad just meat attack" - Ze Pickle Ze Pickle in Burleigh Heads is owned by two of the biggest burger heads I've met. Burger 1. The double double thanks to one of the owner's recommendations. 2 hand pressed Wagyu beef patties, 2 slices of Swiss cheese, house marinated maple smoked bacon, 2 slices of jack cheese and I also lost my bacon jam virginity (which they make in house). This was all finished with smokey BBQ sauce on a daily baked bun, and I absolutely loved it! Burger 2. Their signature burger, The Publo Escoburger. Cheese infused wagyu mince, queso spread, jalapeño aioli, corn chips and slow cooked pulled pork on a fresh roll. Plus some sweet potato fries in case the two burgers weren't enough. A lot of the time when you have a pre conceived idea of somewhere it never meets your expectations, Ze Pickle blew mine away. Counting down the days until you come to Melbourne.

Was lucky enough to crack an invite to the soft opening of the Dude Food Man's stand alone shop in Essendon.(don't worry the truck will still be running) I grabbed the ultimate smokey BBQ burger again plus a side of their chunky chips with aioli, Plus a salted caramel milk shake. Thanks heaps for the invite boys, will definitely be making the treck back soon! Rating - 8.75/10

Hurricanes $25 Wagyu Beef burger. The meat was absolutely exceptional but the rest of the burger was a real let down especially with the price tag. Had a portobello mushroom on the bottom though if you are into that.

Birthday burger with Mummaburgler and my sister who is one half of the the Breakfast Society . Mum left the choice of venue up to me so the pressure was on. I needed somewhere classy because mum is a classy lady.. We ended up at Nshry. Umami burgers all 'round, except I tried their new Double. A double patty of Wagyu and Angus beef, their special sauce, cheese and crispy crispy bacon. Happy birthday to an incredible woman. Xx #bacontongue

Welcome everyone to The Hamburgler’s new Blog! 

A couple weeks ago I was invited down to Veludo in St Kilda to try the burger and a few other items on their new menu. This was their delicious beef burger. A large single patty with lots of flavour, cascading cheese and a generous serving of beetroot relish which always makes a burger better. Although they use a Brioche bun it is crunchy instead of soft which was a nice alternative to the norm. 

Veludo is on Ackland street and has recently gone through a massive menu make over. Making it a lot more student-budget friendly, which is a very big positive for me.

Thursday night is burger night at Veludo and apparently it goes off! I will deffinitely be going back for a beer.. or six.

I also got pulled pork tacos which were delicious.
