writing fanfiction is just. i’m being so creative and original. i’m plagiarizing everyone by accident. i’m a genius. i’m cringe. i’m too angsty. i’m too cheesy. this is not in character. it doesn’t matter that it’s not in character because these are my characters now. i love my hobby. this is the worst possible use of my time. i’m seeking validation. i’m projecting my own personal problems onto this story and i’m barely hiding it. i know so many words and i’m using all of them wrong. im on tumblr posting about it instead of writing it.

I love the things that feel sorta incoherent between Buffy and Angel having their own shows, like how in Angel there's higher powers that micromanage him to the point of sending a vision that he's going to fall over the following day and in Buffy she'll be facing her twentieth apocalypse and they'll just figure it'll be fine they don't need to step in offer any guidance there.

But I can see where they're coming from because without their help Buffy would still save the world and even with their help Angel did still fall over.

I should mention that my fondness for Cangel goes back to the first time I saw Halloween, and I was actively rooting for them to get together 5 episodes into AtS. They're one of those pairings where you put to characters together in a room, and though they initially don't make much sense, your initial reaction is always yes, more of that please.
