I don't usually post life updates like usually I just update where I am in tags of commission boosting but I think I wanna let you guys know my immediate plans for this blog and my art online as a whole. Under read more just so no one needs to see if they don't want!
This year, I've begun to loose my mobility due to something?? Jury is still out on why, though signs are looking at ME/CFS or Fibro. It's been a steady decline since January, I've bene using a walking aid since just after then I think, but these past few days have been so bad I now rely on crutches or a wheelchair when I am outside.
My job is insanely stressful. I'm a Fixed Term full time contract at a University in SW England, where I represent their Students' Union as president. It's underfunded, and I am the only sabbatical officer for the entire institute (most institutes operate with at least five sabatticals, and twice as many full time staff. There is one other member of staff than myself). This job has made me sick to the point where I'm not sure if I will recover.
Next year, I plan on leaving the workforce for a small while, as I try to give my body what it needs. Chronic pain was never something I thought I'd have to deal with, but I guess no one expects too! I'm going to be trying to make more of a living off of my work next year, and that is exciting? (and scary!). Upcoming features to the blog will hopefully be
