well, there could be more, you know, if you meaningfully interact with what's there and/or write your own. Just a thought.

I just want to make this so clear. The message of this post is more than one thing:
1) it is rude as fuck to complain about how small a fandom is or about the lack of certain kind of content in the tumblr tags or, hell, in the comment section of a fic that doesn't have what you want in it
2) ESPECIALLY don't do this when there is fic on AO3 or on Tumblr or whatever that you have NOT interacted with. "Where is this ship? Where is this kind of fic?" LOOK for it. Use the resources available to you!!!! And then for the love of god, comment on things, reblog pieces, say nice things in the tags. INTERACT MEANINGFULLY WITH WHAT IS THERE!!!!!!
3) and if you can't find the content you wish to see after you have actually looked at the tags with your own eyeballs, you have the power to Create Things Your Own Damn Self
And before anyone comes for me, I have broken ground on AO3 once for a romance novel and once for a ship tag. I am currently in a small, quiet fandom and I recently went through very nearly every single fic on AO3 for that fandom (filtered out crossovers I wasn't interested in, content that squicks me, and languages I can't read) and wrote a comment. And I am writing fic. Come on.

Knowing she should probably be terrified, but burning with certainty that this was inevitable. She needs him like she needed to jump. There’s no turning back from this now.

So you get this sticky note because for the life of me I couldn’t recapture @hobbitinnumenor’s “mud bros”of s2 ep 4 any other way that was better and more true to Arondir and Isildur bonding than this 😭
