Hii hijack community!! Been wanting to open up a blog to introduce a project I and others are working on. An OTNWAS visual novel! This is just a fun little collaborate project we’ve been slowly working on in our free time, but we wanted to be able to share our progress with you!

When will it be released?

It depends! Since this is a fan project, it isn't our main priority. We all have very busy lives, but we try to dedicate time to the VN when we're able to. Hopefully we can keep a consistent schedule, but we don't make any guarantees.

Will it be an actual game or just released on tumblr as a webcomic?

Kae is developing the visual novel using the Renpy engine, which will mean you can download and play it! We intend for it to be a completely interactable experience, and we want to bring it to life as best we can :)

A young mage who prefers the company of books and mythical creatures over that of a group of hunched old men with long beards nearly touching the ground and terrible tempers. His mask was broken after being attacked by a magical creature hunter. He was separated from his home and family at a young age by a group of mages who taught him everything they knew. Over time, he grew tired of that life and chose to set out in search of what he felt was missing.

Well, it’s not completely finished, but I’m satisfied with the result. Maetir, my original character, is part of the How to Train Your Dragon and Rise of the Guardians universe.

And here’s a version of him as a young mage. I’ve read many fanfics that involve mages and magical creatures in some Hijack stories, so I wanted to make a version of my character as one of them.

Some information about my OC. I need to answer a few questions about Mae, since some people want to know more about him. ✨📖

I’m not sure if the heights are exact, but I used the heights that Jack and Hiccup have in the movies. 😊📏

For Mae’s silhouette, I used one I found randomly on Pinterest as a reference. I didn’t really like the ones that were available on the website.

What can you tell me about your OC?

Hmm, I wouldn’t really know where to start, but I can share a few details and traits about him. For example, he has jet-black hair. I’ve been thinking about making two versions of him—one with long hair and another with short hair. He’s about the same height as Jack, and he has a scar near his waist. He has brown eyes and a slim build, similar to Jack and Hiccup, though that doesn’t mean he’s weak.
