This is a dead fandom, but I dont care. I love this silly little guy.
Re-watching Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated season 2, and I always forget that Velma and Marcy/Hotdog Water were secret spies for Mr. E that went on missions in like, Russia, and shit.
Okay but Mystery Incorporated is like- Criminally underrated? What other show do you know of that has an episode dedicated to creepy skeleton cattle that were crossbred with pirahnas and bees that were created specifically to destroy an entire town in an effort to find pieces of an ancient treasure that had the power to unlock a sarcophagus that held an evil entity that could destroy the world?
I love this show so, so much.
āScooby Dooā Live-Action Netflix Series Reveals First Look at Crime-Solving Canine, to Premiere in 2027
Okay, Scooby is famously a Great Dane. While this little guy is adorable, he's totally the wrong breed. Kinda like making Lassie a German Shepard. It doesn't work.
This does not bode well.

Does-does no one know what great dane puppies look like...?
Like????? Just if you're not sure, look up a picture instead of jumping to negative yamering?
The very popular belief that magic in BBC Merlin being an allegory for being queer/love in general makes Arthur's character so interesting when you think about it. His father taught him from a very young age that not only is "magic" evil, but it's also dirty and corrupts those who "choose" to "practice" it. And that everyone one who uses "magic" is some form of inherently weak for "choosing" to use it. When Arthur's, most likely, first and only true friend is secretly a warlock who uses "magic" to save him over and over again. And Arthur, who multiple times after Uthers death, and sometimes before, questions what he was taught even when he can never truly break away from his father's teachings until he knows what Merlin did for him. Arthur can never accept that "magic" isn't as disgusting and inherently evil to him as it is to his father. After all, wouldn't that make him sympathetic to "magic" users? Wouldn't that mean he could even understand why they "choose" to use "magic"? How could he understand why people do that if he didn't relate/feel similar?
Im saying the closest is glass and that Arthur grew up in the medieval fantasy version of a super closed-minded and religious household with internalized-homophobia/"magic" phobia.
He never actively "practices" "magic", therefore, it's not a problem, and he's not accepting of it. Even though he exists because of magic because his father wanted a son more than he wanted anything else. But that's Uther's hypocrisy, not Arthur's problem. I also find it weird that Arthur got over "being made from magic" rather quickly...
Reposting this for pride month bc im rather proud of how I worded this.
I haven't even watched the movies yet, and already every social media platform im on I've been seeing BloodyMary.... This shit magical ig.
This franchise has captivated me.
Sooo.... kids media, Im a right??
(Also, Tumblr might have crunched the quality.)
Good Omens 3 spoilers.
Screw it, I fucking loved the good omens finale.
They got what they wanted, which was left unsaid because they didn't need to say it. They got to grow old together. They had all they ever wanted, for things to be simple. There was no angel vs. demon, there were no sides to choose. There was simply walking into a bookshop and asking for his number.
IT WAS A HAPPY ENDING YALL!!!!!!
AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!
And above all else, there was no big cosmic game. Humanity has free will, like actual free will, not just god saying so. Which means Aziraphale and Crowley have free will, too.
They got to grow old together, how in what way is that a bad ending?
Im thinking about making a vampire Whitaker fic on a03,,,,, I've already read basically ALL of them, so, yeah, its just that I've never written a fanfic, before. It would be the pov of Santos at the start, and yes, Dennis is Vlad Dracula in this, but like, would anyone enjoy it at all?? Would anyone ever read it?? Idk thoughts????
I've been re-watching Good Omens before season 3 comes out/the special thingy they're doing(idk if this shit can be fixed in 90 minutes), and I dont think I ever realized just how strong Aziraphale's religious trauma really is. I know im probably late to the party on this, definitely due to me not being religious, but I have thoughts dammit.
How he thought he was going to Hell just for lying, lying for the benefit of others, and he still thought he deserved eternal torment for it, yet as time goes on, he lies just a little bit more day by day, how the first time he eats food, he's concerned he might get in trouble for it, yet as he grows older, one might say, distancing himself from Heaven, he becomes a complete foodie. When Crowley kisses him, instead of saying, "I Love you," he says, "I Forgive you." Because for him, Forgiveness is as close as Heaven gets to Love.
What I'm saying is that Aziraphale is comparable to someone growing up with full faith in the church/Christianity, yet day by day, he separates from it because the person he Loves helps him grow and learn. Yet, after a falling out, Aziraphale still runs back due to its constant being there, rationalizing it as,"If I come back and get to be in charge, I could change things." Failing to realize he's suppressing himself as much if not more as what he was before he separated himself from Heaven. He's becoming a depressed repressed version of himself because he still wants to believe that maybe Heaven can still "Forgive" him. And maybe others.
Im not religious, I have no experience with religion, especially Christianity, and this could be complete word vomit or miss the mark by a long shot. But I had thoughts and and to put them SOMEWHERE.
Separate the art from the artist only applies when said artist is long gone and the art doesn't give them money.
I thought this was pretty self-explanatory...
I know it's a kids' show, and I'm overthinking it, but why the hell aren't more of the criminals scared of mystery Inc.? Not only is one member(depending on the version) 6'0-6'5, but also the dog is 5'4-5'9 that can also talk. That's Scooby on all fours btw, thats not him standing on his hind legs, which would make him 6'0-6'1. This is a great dane who talks and who can walk on his back legs like a person. DO YOU KNOW HOW TERRIFYING THAT WOULD BE????
Another one can set traps like he saw Home Alone and thought how would MacGyver improve them, another one has a balck belt in karate and gives Bruce Lee a run for his money, and the short one has been complimented by THE Batman(and worked at NASA) , also the real tall one can run faster then Usian Bolt.
What would you do at that point? The games over, no insurance money/real estate is worth that much effort.
scooby doo mystery incorporated is crazy bc can you imagine if you were raised adopted but you didnt know and your dad was super emotionally unavailable your entire life and then when you found out your dad wasnt your bio parent he immediately went to jail and your bio parents came into your life for the first time and after spending ~1 month bonding they ally with the evil german parrot who wants to kill you and wake up an evil entity and start actively working to help him kill you and wake up the evil entity. and then when the parrot succeeds in his plan the evil entity he was trying to awaken just immediately kills him and then it also eats your bio parents. and then almost immediately after it takes your adoptive dad out of jail and eats him too. and then you and your friends defeat the entity and you wake up in an alternate reality where the adoptive dad who you came to view as your real dad was just your football coach/principal and your evil insane parents were suddenly really nice and you can never get therapy for what you went through because reality reset and none of what happened actually happened in this universe. youve taken over a life that isnt yours and your memories of the past year or so are all fake they never happened. what the fuck.
I love Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated. I love that all of this, what op said, is real.
Like a month ago I messaged a craft group about accessibility for wheelchairs and the answer I got was āthereās a lot of stairs but we have cute boys who can carry youā. And itāsā¦not good. As a wheelchair bound person I largely depend on people when I want to go out and do *anything* so Iām used to it, I laugh it off, make an annoyed post about it and off I go. But I wanna just say a thing real quick.
Even if I wasnāt gay, wasnāt a survivor scared of men, getting help as a disabled person is justā¦Not a pleasant thing to us! Imagine for a sec how youād feel being carried up a flight of stairs. Youāre a grown person. Youāre being touched in an awkward way. Youād rather do it yourself. Youāre So Uncomfortable. Itās not where I look for the beginning of a romantic relationship. So likeā¦could abled people stop doing this thing where they think helping us in a condescending and infantilizing way is cute? Cause Iām real tired. Just get me a ramp or lift and Iām cool. I donāt need a dating service when Iām just trying to go about my day
If youāre abled please reblog it cause likeā¦the more ppl knows the better
Ummm,,,,, I think I got possessed....
For context, I've literally never drawn in this style, and this is also the first time I've touched physical art supplies in months.
This is also the first drawing in my new sketch book. So, ummm, yeah.
