🤙.
Do you not like bbrae? I get the feeling you only dislike it because people keep thinking it’s canon and forcing it onto you in your comments on insta, it’s not canon in the cartoon but it’s obvious Raven likes Beast Boy and was jealous of Terra, hence the mudfight. I feel like your art would be more popular if you just went with it instead of acting like it doesn’t exist.
... do you think i draw to get popular, anon?
Hey huge BBRae fan here.
"it's pretty obvious Raven likes Beast Boy and was jealous of Terra, hence the mudfight"
RAVEN WAS NOT👏FUCKING👏JEALOUS👏
SHE WAS ✨SUSPICIOUS✨ BECAUSE SHE HAD A BAD FEELING ABOUT TERRA AND SHE WAS TRYING TO PROTECT HER FRIENDS.
Gosh why is it when two female characters have a conflict it's just gotta be over a boy... Right?
Again as a huge BBRae fan, no it's not "obvious" that Raven likes Beast Boy. It's a completely subjective view of their relationship, if someone sees romance that's completely fine, if someone sees nothing more than friends? Also completely fine and valid. You think Raven was jealous of Terra? Okay, fine, it's your opinion and you have the right to express it.
But trying to force this and the ship as a whole onto others does not help with the hate. These people are the reason BBRae is so hated in the first place.
I'm legitametly embarrassed to be a part of this fandom sometimes.
And EVEN if it was undeniably canon, telling someone that "their art would be more popular if they went with it" is still such a shitty thing to say, especially to someone who is so enthusiastic about a much more unpopular ship.
Get in your fucking lanes.
God forbid a friend worrying about their other friend, just because they had suspicions and bad vibes of someone hanging out with their friend. Especially if it’s a female worrying about her male friend.
so, i got robbed last night
or dusk, actually, like 4-5am either when i was asleep or when i left my room to get something. i only realized something's missing 10-20 minutes after i woke up.
uh i don't feel safe here anymore, but idk where to go, nor have any cash left for a whole new flat... i just moved here a few months ago..
i lost my phone, i only had it for a few months, i haven't even cleared its credit yet. i'm gonna look for a new place to stay and to clear the credit for that lost phone so uh.
im open for comm, and ko-fi if you want anything else i guess... idk...

I need people to look at this masterpiece, especially the last one
so just as reminder, yes, Jinx was at the Brotherhood of Evil meeting along with almost every villain thats introduced in the show. shown at the end of episode "Homecoming part II" (54th overall episode)
continuity conflict aside, its safe to assume Madame Rouge followed up on her words of being in touch with Jinx (and subsequently, the rest of the HIVE FIVE) and got them on board with the Brotherhood of Evil.
also safe to assume that episode "Lightspeed" happens before "Homecoming part II"
(TT03's Fearsome Five fanservice before their companion comic "debut" lol)
now i personally have my own scenario around this detail alone, headcanon territory here,
Jinx and the rest of HIVE FIVE (six) eventually got the invitation, however it didn't happen overnight (just look at the huge villain roster. some were goners— did they ressurect them? well, it must've taken them days or weeks regardless),
so theres a hypothetical time gap in-between where Jinx would rethink of her life decisions up to that point and have some dilemma around her alignment. would she want to put up with peers who barely respect her as a person like Madame Rouge? perhaps Kid Flash still patrolling Jump City while the Titans's are still off town and thus more banter and development between Jinx and him.
and eventually lead to her having made up her mind and Jinx decided to not want to do the Brotherhood's dirty work anymore. however, to not rise suspicion (since Madame Rouge saw her setting Kid Flash free), she attended to get information and serve as intel.
she'd leak the info and what entailed in the meeting to Kid Flash later, a whole scene of trust, lead to her breaking his communicator so they wouldn't be tracked, and they run off to the night.
they probably did stuff behind the scene, maybe letting other Honorary Titans know or taking care of enemies that aren't on screen or something, and thats why they came in late.
i'd imagine for her to be in the Titans Together episode's big fight and fighting alongside the Titans, and Kid Flash referring to her as a "friend" (or girlfriend, if you watch in JP dub), there must've been big development off-screen for that to happen.
headcanon part over.
and yes, at the end of the day, season 5 was objectively rushed and they probably lack hindsight or didn't think much of the continuity errors when they worked on it.
but the best thing about fandom is to fill the gaps in-between, and personally instead of dismissing those errors just for things to make sense for oneself, like lots of dudebro theorists on reddit, i tend to go with the more whimsical "how can we make this work?" mindset.
that way, more scenarios can be made, and animation/continuity errors have purpose haha. I keep my eyes peeled when I watch or rewatch shows or movies or cutscenes because of it, to notice every single detail. maybe i can make new ideas or headcanons!
I think its why Flinx intrigues me.
see, most ships i like, like almost all of them consist of canonical/universal fanon agreement of will-they-won't theys, slowburns to relationships, some even friends with benefits, but essentially lots of dangling carrots which ends with a kiss and them being together at the end in a neat little bow. heck I admit, I avoid established relationships tags because the conflict is always trying to separate them with cheap misunderstandings or miscommunication and such. (and i hated that, because its very soap opera-ish most of the time)
when TT03 ended, counting the companion comic, Flinx already got together for real, so if you're following canon closely as I am, you can either explore the build up to it or the aftermath after everything.
of course Flinx can do the slowburn, will-they-won't-they with the light enemies-to-lovers aspect, but what i find interesting is the aftermath. when they're together.
this is a type of ship that kinda goes against what I commonly favor because I used to believe "Whats the point if the ship's canon? There's nothing to explore anymore except just separating them for conflict"— oh how shallow i've been for the past decade in shipdoms because, at least with Flinx, theres soooo much to explore just through the characters as individuals alone and how they both would face those personal hurdles together, making their bond all the more stronger with it.
you can break them up, I guess, lots of fics who dgaf about them as individuals do that but the idea of them opening up, staying together despite everything, working things out, choosing to be vulnerable, and healing from pain together feels very comforting to explore. theres complexities in each of them you can deconstruct, KF's rough home life and the weight of Flash/Speedforce legacy of it all, Jinx's experience with the HIVE or Brother Blood's cult and her bad luck upbringing that made her doubt her path in life.
they're so different, from the surface theres as if no similarities between them, but they still try to understand each other, support each other, and find common grounds. this is what I extract from how KF is characterized from TT03 alone, he's a listening ear, he offers other solutions, he'd help carry the weight together, same with Jinx in the companion comic being protective of him, would push aside her differences with Raven for his well-being, the vulnerability (i'd say even character development for her) that is claiming it's her fault he's hurt— god.
or if we're bringing the Darkseid or destiny or multiple consistent realities of it all, choosing to go against fate and work for their happy ending, its so powerful to me.
not counting the other things like growing up, domestic lives, families, everything thats usually in timeskip or an epilogue in most other ships, I get to explore that with Flinx.
they're together, but its not the end of their story, there's more conflicts ahead and they face them hand-in-hand.
gotta admit, liking them even more for the past year make me tolerate the "established relationship" fic tag haha. its why I like them veery much, its why i'm disappointed people forgot about them, make them a filler/afterthought pair, or doesn't care much.
well I care very much, i'll help people remember them, fondly this time, with little to no mischaracterization/misinformation.
wdym thanatos isn’t in the sequel he’s literally right there
This is beautiful
Now that you've shared your current design for Adult! Jinx and the people who'd act as her mentors, I can kinda see her not really being part of the League like Flash, but more like this wildcard yet fundamentally heroic independent hero the League calls for help when they need her expertise on the more shady aspects of magic, criminals she's familiar with, and such.
(Constantine. I can see her being more of like a defanged version of Constantine than a darker version of Zatanna).
All this to say that when new, younger recruits first meet her and realise she's The Flash's longtime girlfriend, they'd be shook to learn the fastest man alive, known for being cheery and upbeat and an unyieldingly good person with unshakable morals, is hopelessly in love with... Well, someone like Jinx. Let's call her his polar opposite lol.
Only to be even more shook to find out that, nope, they're actually both insanely cool and insanely dorky people who're joined at the hip.
yeah at least in my AU, Jinx is an overachiever. initially in her teen years post-redemption, she'd find a different group of adults to look up to as a goal to achieve. which is the League.
but 10-20 years down the line at some point, after experiencing both sides (villain-hero) and perhaps realizing how rigid it feels, both sides bending to some authoritative rules, she chooses to become more independent and live by her own rules. Wally would be fine with this as long as theres no harm done, though he is part of the League still, taking his uncle's mantle.
definitely, Jinx becomes more of an anti-hero with her dubious methods but of course, still would line up with the good guys haha.
To the person who made the question(?), thank you. You got us to get more see more Flinx in the future (plus Zantanna and Constantine mentioned).
I did a sketch of an OC I love but haven't drawn in forever.
Hello, casual flinx fan here! 🙋♀️ I have a question, what are some pet peeves you have when it comes to fanon depiction of kid flash and Jinx? I'm sure we all have our fair share of gripes when it comes to our favorite characters in our own respective fandoms (if this has been answered before, please link me to the previous answered question, thanks!)
why hello there anon. 👋
surprisingly, you're the first to ask me that haha. its a good question.
wow where do i start? okay, i will list down the things i'm most familiar and remember and other members of the Flinx council can fill in things i haven't brought up and write down their gripes in the comments.
Here's list of common pet peeves i personally have about fanon Kid Flash/Jinx in the fandom:
Weekend 2 - Four Flowers / an even number of flowers
Weekend 2 - Fireflies / Cicada
I found this base on Pinterest and immediately thought of Tecna. I probably messed up somewhere with the face and the posing (I know I most likely messed up her vest), but it still felt good to draw something that doesn't take a long time lol
Jinx and Melanie Walker/Ten
I feel like if Jinx accidentally got traveled into the future and she met Melanie they would get along so well.
Obviously, they would both would be on guard with each other, but if they take the time to talk they would understand each other. They both came from a past where being bad is all they know and grew in toxic environments. Deep down or subconsciously they knew what they wanted, but they didn't feel like they could; as Jinx believed she was bad luck and Melanie doesn't want to let her family down or leave her family. They would probably give each other life advice and tell how they broke out of that toxic environment. They can relate to how long it took for them to break out of the toxic cycle and finally do something they've always wanted, not just because of others. Also, I think in the background Terry and Wally (Kid Flash) would chat and play video games while the girls talk, pfft. Though I feel like if Terry were to talk about his previous relationship with Melanie and his current one with Dana, Wally would probably tell him that even if Terry has to keep his hero identity a secret, a partner should be able to understand how he's busy now and sometimes plans will cancel unexpecting. Wally would talk about how it took Jinx a bit to stop being a villain and how she knocked him out with a wet floor sign and tried to turn him in to the Brotherhood of Evil. Their relationship began a bit rocky (from screenshots I've seen in the comments, correct me if I'm wrong), but it worked out in the end. This might get Terry to reflect about his romantic relationships then. (P.S: I know Dana's reasoning to get mad for Terry is valid, but I feel like the writers should have shown a healthy breakup rather than keep them together as their relationship was on and off or really rocky. The only time Dana was seen to be understanding was a scene with Max where she came with the conclusion that Terry sees Bruce as father figure. That was about it and we don't here anything about them, until one of the episodes in Justice League Unlimited where it showed older Terry planned to propose to Dana right after she learned his secret identity.) Overall, Jinx and Melanie would get along and be besties because of their past and upbringing. Also, even though Terry does act like a high schooler, him and Wally would give off Batman and Flash from Justice League and Justice League Unlimited vibes.
Honestly i don't even think you'd need Jinx to travel to the future for that, by the time the future comes Jinx would probably be in her what, late thirtys early fourtys? Honestly i think Jinx could probably become something of a mentor or inspirational figure to Mel if they ever met
Hi my lovely bf!
That is actually true, even if Terry doesn’t exist the Royal Flush Gang would. Jinx being a mentor for Melanie after she stops being Ten would be really interesting and amazing!

You don’t seem like a weird crazy person at all, don’t worry!
I haven’t really seen much hatred for Pierrot in this round, though the previous round had a lot of "Who even is this guy? Why is a jester named Pierrot?" and a handful of people who seemed to dislike him because of the cake scene (which, okay, valid).
Also saw a hilarious comment thread about Harlequin putting out Kermit propaganda and creating tons of puppet accounts to vote for Kermit. Green team lmao.
Ok, that’s good to hear at least! I tend to get anxious at times, so I’m glad I wasn’t be all that weird.
But yeah, I’m glad there isn’t much hate towards Pierrot this round. Like you said, there was a lot of hate towards him last round and I get if their reasoning the cake scene (which is really valid). Other than that, it was a lot of confused people who seemed to not like Pierrot’s design since he does look like a jester until you get to play the game.
Whoever made that comment is amazing, Harlequin would so do that to Pierrot just for the fun to annoy him lmao.
I hateth pierrot and am rather miffed that i didst not getteth even a mentione.
Why is this post even getting so much attention that Rouxls Kaard found my blog, LMAO-
Sorry Rouxls, I have always preferred Pierrot than you </3
Oh dear, maybe I should take that back-
