He’s finally here! Will Graham rescuing a shar pei! It’s really an idea I loved drawing and that was close to my heart. Don’t you think they’re pretty cute?

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen, I felt like doing something special. After a scene came to my mind, I decided to immortalize Grigg Harris from The Jane Austen Book Club, cosplaying (he’s a geek, so for him it is a cosplay) as Frederick Wentworth during a Jane Austen’s ball.

We don’t have any fanart of Grigg Harris, or very little, so it felt perfect to give him more attention.

And, of course, while working on this drawing, I couldn’t help but listen to Hugh Dancy reading Persuasion (aka my favorite passage from the book).
