Lines of taught
Sometimes I still see you, distant in the hue.
You left your mark, my mind is bruised.
A question arise from the depths of you.
I wasnt used to it, I didnt know the rue
An endless nightmare, on repeat in my sleep.
Reminding me, for what I’ve done, forget redemption I’m long gone.
Am I awake or merely a sleep, I find myself think to often at brink .
These horrors, my actions, unspeakable true, yet all I remember is what I have done to you.
Can’t outrun these feelings growing so strong
Self hatred, the only place, I feel, I belong
Whenever I think of you, a chill to my bones
Guilt and sorrow, is what I call home
Believe me I do, regret and dispute
Myself and my word, a coward conquered
You taught me to love, ripe as the earth
Given to you and me by birth
What use was it, you took me a fool
Heart displayed for all the cruel
Our story, my point of view
