Dawne was currently working on her sword-fighting skills. Her magic allowed her to her clone her weapon. She had a bad day and wanted to just relax. This, to her was relaxing That's when she heard it, a glass breaking. There was this dude who immediately gave off asshole vibes. Dawne couldn't believe this guy.
AND SHE DID NOT EVEN KNOW HIM
Black hair, fancy monocle like the one she had, markings, like the one her best friend. A suit. And he was just there, smiling far too smug after causing a person to cry for a tiny mistake at work. But she kept her cool. She waited for him to leave and decided to talk to the lady. The lady revealed he had a kid but heard him say 'that his daughter, has yet to give him a reason to be invested in her life.' That pissed Dawn off.
She left Holt Street, promising to talk some sense into the guy. She used the tracking spell from memory and followed after him. He stopped, and when he turned around, nothing was there yet when he turned back? There were two floating swords aimed at his throat, both swirling around him.
And where was Dawne, one might ask?
When the swords stopped swirling, he felt cold metal on the back of his neck.
"So... question. Do you just, I don't know, wake up and get yourself on your high horse going, "Hmm... there must be something I can do today, but I cannot think of anything, but I am certain something is missing! Wait! I know! I can make people cry for no reason at all! And imply my daughter isn't worth a damn to me! Ah, what a perfect day!" She made her voice sound deep and mocking, before speaking normally, "Or... were you just... born the most inconsiderate heartless douchebag on the planet?! Because if that's the case... you, my dude, are never gonna be happy with anything."
The swords that floated around him began to move again, spinning around him slowly.
"Are you... gonna just stand there and reflect all day or are you gonna get your act together? I can wait, I am very patient. Yeah, those swords aren't leaving either and neither am I. You got that?"
Jurean never missed a day where he doesn't have a stranger coming after him. perhaps he's just coincidentally popular and these people wanted to meet him? Well, who doesn't want to meet him?
Jurean stared at the lady and the blade pressed against his neck. The cold metal resting against his skin earned no reaction from him, it wasn't the first time he had a blade on him and this wouldn't be the last either.
"Hah. How do you know that?" Jurean asked, but his tone doesn't show any interest to know the answer.
With a flick of his finger followed by sharp click, the sword was suddenly flung away from his neck and strikes the ground few feet away from them both. Jurean calmly adjusted his monocle, his sharp eyes narrowing at the woman before him.
"Don't put your nose where it don't belong, lady. I'm not having a stranger meddling in my business." A hand place on his hips as he studied the her with piercing glare. He couldn't believe someone knew this piece of information, and whoever carelessly spread them wouldn't live long enough as soon he'd find them.
"Although, I'll admit. Clone weapon is smart, it is your own magic?" Jurean glances to the sword still embedded in the ground, before looks back at the lady with newfound interest. He didn't care what she's here for, or to scold him for being insufferable.
"I must say, however. Your swordmanship is awful." He tilted his head, a mocking smirk tugging at corner of his lips. "There's a way to improve that, for sure."
"I'll give you a book to improve that awful talent, but you gotta tell me about that clone weapon magic. Sound fair?"
Jurean couldn't careless about her motive. What matters now is her knowledge of cloning weapon, that makes her interesting to him. He has to gain that knowledge, one way or another.
