Gee. Sounds like someone’s in a mood. You might be disappointed to hear this, but death isn’t on the agenda for today. Unless I end up choking on my lunch later in the afternoon. But only if you manage to tell me a pretty funny joke or something.

Chances of that happening are slim.

O-M-G! Why didn’t I think of that? Then I can feel the horrible burning sensation of my skin being melted off by the pure water of the rain, and slowly over time I’ll, like, totally be reduced to a puddle of demon goo, and I’ll finally stop suffering, and also stop feeling, and just stop living entirely! Oh my gosh that sounds like so much fun!!!

It's raining.

Rain is the worst weather of all, isn't it? Hardly anything happens in the rain. It burns, like acid from the sky, and at its touch, any demon is sure to succumb to an insurmountable fatigue.

What can be done with stormy skies? The Queen Mother works, as always, too busy to spare time to satisfy the idle whimsy of her children's boredom. And Father... Well, he's more than likely just as busy as the Queen. Not that he’s been seen or heard of.

The world within reach has shrunk to the dry safety of the palace walls.
